The ability to have a favorites list would be helpful

So many choices. Our world is crazy right now. And this gives me the option to engage or escape.
No CarPlay
I listen to audiobooks in the car while I drive. This app doesn’t fit the bill without CarPlay support. I’ll have to continue using other audiobook apps for now.
Playback speed options too limited
Playback speeds should be customizable. The next slowest option after 1x is .7x and the next fastest is 1.2x
Unlimited Access for Limited Content
On the one hand, I enjoy, knowing that whatever title I choose, will be available for me. On the other hand, the selection is limited to less than the most popular titles available.
Decent options, poor category discovery
Our library recently transitioned to Blackstone from Hoopla and it didn’t quite have the selection I’ve come to enjoy from the latter. There are some good books on there, but you have to know what you want. I wish there were more ways to browse the library and discover new books in a genre.
Best Ever
This is the best platform to get audio books from the library. You can get them right away and you don’t have to wait weeks .
Limited playback speed options
Many audio book players let you choose your preferred playback speed, for example, 95%, 90%, 85%. This one has only very specific speeds. From 100% the next lower speed is to 75% or lower, too slow for most listeners.
US
There are far too many US books, needs UK, Australia, NZ and Canada books

Unable to use the “browse” or “genre” tabs.
Just got this app after my library stopped using hoopla, which I loved. I am unable to browse audiobooks. Hopefully that will get fixed.

What a delight to discover Blackstone through my Vancouver Island Regional Library!
One of my favorite authors, M C Beaton Is now at my fingertips and so many of the older books, of course written by Marion just weren’t available.
I very much appreciate the APP and it’s user-friendly and will advocate for Blackstone!

Glitchy and frequent crashes
This has potential, but the app is glitchy. It crashes frequently and brings up error messages. It’s a small collection with mostly older titles.

Nice design, but glitchy
The app doesn’t seem to work with Bluetooth devices. If I close the app, it does remember previous settings and they have to be reset

Good, but glitchy
For the most part it’s a solid app. But, the audiobooks randomly stop playing and need to be restarted.
