Doesn’t pick up BlackVue. Trash company
Does not work, even if battery fully charged.
Worked the first time with b-130x then it always shows 1% charging or remaining. Tried to uninstall the app, to empty battery, same result (also with Blackvue Cloud App).

No security options - anyone can access your battery
Why is there no password option for the bluetooth? This shouldn't be open for anyone to walk by and be able to see the battery life or to make changes to the settings.
B-130x NEVER Connects to App
Just got the B-130x battery and the battery app does absolutely nothing. The Bluetooth light on the battery doesn’t even turn on. The app just says ‘scan’…the circle of death appears on the screen, then just stops circling. How am I supposed to know how much charge my battery has? At least the old B-112 at least had charging lights….but then again the cheap plastic wires were charred black and almost set my car on fire. These devices and accessories can be really great if BlackVue would invest in the actual utilization so that functionality actually works, especially since none of it is cheap.

Borderline Useless
The App relies on you being within 4m of the battery to get any connection.
Utterly pointless.
Why is the battery not an option on the normal BlackVue Dashcam App accessible via the Cloud.
Other than having access to data on the battery when you’re next to the battery this is a waste of time.

Terrible functionality
You guys have made plenty enough money on these batteries and cameras that you can afford to fix your app!
No battery Usage Time Remaining on 1 battery
UPDATE 17Apr23: Still using v 1.08 Usage Time Remaining does not work for one of my 2 batteries. 1.08 happily and consistently finds my 2 batteries, Please fix this NOW!!! Up to 2 stars now ==================================

Back to 1 star ============================================ UPDATE 3March2023: With the newest v 1.08, at least initially the app now, finally appears to be able to find both of my batteries quickly and show the status of the batteries correctly. Upgraded my rating from the horrible 1-star rating to 3 stars. Will find out now if the app consistently works as it should. ============================================ Original review This software is buggy. I have 2 B-124X battery packs and 1 B-124E expansion battery in one car. This app frequently fails to find one of the battery packs or both battery packs. Repeated scans eventually find one or both. After viewing the information of one battery pack and then trying to return back to the list of battery packs the app tries to scan for them and ALWAYS FAILS TO FIND EITHER ONE. I have to wait until the scan fails and then try to scan again --- resulting in either one, both, or none being found. PLEASE FIX YOUR CONSISTENTLY BUGGY SOFTWARE!!! You charge way too much for these batteries to supply such defective software!!! Update: December 27, 2022: app completely broken today doesn't work at all zero please fix immediately

Basic functionality
It has very basic functionality. Please at least add the ability to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
Battery not connecting
Finally I thought there was something wrong with my battery even though I still was getting notifications when in parking mode .Thank you BlackVue for this firmware update.
App needs to be updated
App worked ok when I first downloaded in April 2022 or so. Worked for a few months but now has completely stopped working.
My batteries are totally fine and settings are correct. My batteries are detected but keeps disconnecting.
This option should be on their camera viewing app. I don’t like having to go to multiple apps to control my dashcam.

Garbage
This is soooooo bad. Why even make an app?
Anyone reading this
This app is probably no longer receiving updates or fixes and probably has been forgotten about. The BlackVue app (for the camera) now includes a way to check your batteries and other accessories. I’ve been struggling with the same issue for months with my battery packs
App failure
As others have mentioned, v1.07 of this app no longer reads the battery information. However I was directed to use the new Blackvue App instead and it successfully read my battery information. Blackvue have created confusion with all these legacy and new Apps still available on the App Store.

This app was working but now it scans and you can see it but when connect it immediately disconnects.
v1.07 not working with B-124X
Recent update 1.07 does not show any information when connected to the B-124X battery. This company has questionable work ethics. They broke this all so that you are forced to your their other app which they recently overhauled with an aggressive campaign to force customers to subscribe to paid services. That app is full of junk and adware and user unfriendly. Cameras are good but the apps are junk.

Battery App no longer works
Thanks Blackvue for NOT CARING about updating this APP to sync and show the battery life on the Blackvue Battery packs. Not a good look. Not acceptable. This is ridiculous. I could of just kept all my Cellink B battery packs if this was the case eventually!! Thumbs down for this finessing and nonsense

APP NO LONGER WORKS
This app use to work fine with my Blackvue B124X however; all of a sudden it says 0 percent charge but I know the battery has juice. Devs need to take the time to fix this.
