Frustrating!
I have tried to get this to work for two sessions now and nothing registers. Very frustrating.
Accurate w/ proper setup, Loads of Fun!
Downloaded this app for my 14-yr. old son to add some fun to his daily BP work off of the tee. I purchased an adjustable tripod phone mount from Amazon (already had a good solid tripod for photography). We set it up, measured the distances and started hitting. We found the app to be fairly accurate right from the start. (Realize that a pitched ball will bounce off the bat with a higher velocity than hitting a still ball off of a tee). The app would occasionally fail to capture a hit and/or double up on hits, especially when the ball bounces back out of the net. But overall this is a cool visualization that works most of the time, gives good feedback on exit velocity and launch angle, and is loads of fun, especially during this time of COVID-19 social distancing and no baseball.
