Awful, avoid
Been using public chargers for 6 months now, this one is far and away the worst yet.
Card reader not working so spent half an hour downloading the app, registering email twice, registering card took another 5/6 attempts. They put £25 on hold and the charger didn’t work - still waiting for my money to be released.
Customer service non existent.

Poor service
This was extremely poor service and a significant waste of my time. I expected a much more reliable service and a higher standard of customer support. I would appreciate an explanation of what went wrong, reassurance that this issue will be addressed to prevent it from happening again, and appropriate compensation for the time, inconvenience, and stress caused.

Just avoid
I’ve tried charging at Blink chargers multiple times now, and as the “tap card” function never seems to work, have downloaded the app. App doesn’t actually show that the chargers exist around me until I type in the serial number, and then the app will not accept my card despite saying it’s one of the cards it does accept. That combined with the fact that the pricing is similar to a high speed charger (54p per kWh at time of writing) has killed any incentive to use it. Poor app and poor chargers.

Slow charge. Cant use the fast charge as it taxi only
Absolute garbage
I never review but felt compelled to in order save others. It didn't matter what payment card I entered it rejected them all. The address format doesn't match credit/bank cards so it fails. Their help is unusable. Instead get the Zapmap app as you can pay with them for the Blink chargers. If I could give zero stars I would have.

Worst App Ever
Just useless, you need the app to charge but I kept getting a message ‘Woops we can’t connect you’ (something along those lines) and ‘network issue’. Strange that not one charger was being used, honestly in this day and age these things should just work.
Support tried to assist but could not help in the end, advice to use touch pad to pay with card also failed trying 3 cards and it said nothing about being able to pay by card anyway but to use their own card which I do not have.
Had stressful low battery drive to next location with a decent bank of chargers which worked using debit card and gave me a super quick charge to get home.

Bit Stressful
App not easy to negotiate especially in sunlight. Chargers with simple card payment at charging device much preferred.
Charging machines only 1 available
You have 3 machines but only 1 available when nobody else is using the other machines.
Special talent to be this bad
Possibly the worse out of strong competition for the least user friendly user experience. Impressive.
Took ages to set up, took 3 goes to charge
Not the most straight forward charger I’ve used. The app took ages to set up, partly because service at the location was 2 bars and also because they want to know every detail about you before you can start charging. It then took 3 goes before it would actually charge the car. Nowhere like as easy as GRIDSERVE for example.

50% chargers offline
Very poor service for the past 2 years 50% of their chargers are out of service and they never service them. Very frustrating experience most of the time lately. Please take your business seriously run service level checks weekly and go fix chargers that are never used for more than 7 days as they are out of network

By far the worst charging app I have ever used. Not only is it a pain to use it’s can’t even charge the car. Waste of time and effort compared to other AVOID
Terrible Service. Will never use again.
Difficulty connecting to charging point, despite being a robust and new location within a populated city centre multi-story car parking lot that I found myself on one afternoon. Once finally connected (over 30mins trying). A very slow 3kw charging speed was available. In addition to this, several days later, the pre-authorisation amount has still not been released back into my bank. And the significantly less 'actual cost of charge' was debited over several days ago. Blink Customer Support state they have no control over release of the pre-authorisation of £30 and it can take 30 days. It’s not a large amount of money. But the principle of an appalling service. First time using Blink. And will be my last. Other providers are much better, priced, more efficient, with much better charging speeds. I’ll stick with the multitude of other options in my area. And advise others to avoid Blink charging where possible.
