Good camera, but deceptive “bait and hook”
The cameras are good, quality and function well. However, you must pay a monthly subscription in order to use or access full function capabilities of the camera. Furthermore, I have noticed that the camera system seems to malfunction and fall offline repetitively without a paid subscription.
Just upgrade to a better camera
I’ve had this camera for years. I bought it because it was cheap, but it gets a job done but now after having it for years, I regret not investing on a better camera !! whenever I need to see what my dogs are doing it lags it tells me to wait a few moments and it doesn’t ever go through. It’s so annoying.

Works great for what I need
Works as it should I have multiple cameras around the house. Only issue is avoiding unwanted motions. Not matter what I do it randomly picks up motions beyond the zones

Blink app and camera
These cameras and all is trash. App glitches and crashes all the time and the cameras stopped working in under 6 months. Their customer service just asked for me to give them access through the app and stopped responding to me! Really disappointed. I wonder how it’s got good ratings!
Great Cameras that are inexpensive
I love knowing my house is always being watched. Being able to check on my pets during the day while I’m working gives me a peace of mind. I used other camera brands, but blink has been my favorite.
Works Fine
The Blink motion detection system was working until I purchased an ai plan. Motion detection stopped working as soon as I did that. Blink refunded my purchase. The doorbell functionality has consistently worked the whole time.

These cams are trash as hell they record a motion then have to wait ten seconds before it can record again, and resolution sucks absolutely zoom resolution absolutely trash they glitch and not a good security cam period, someone could be in the house before cam alerts you, also so much more BS I CAN ADD THESE ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY SAVE YOUR MONEY TIME AND EFFORT THESE ARE BS. Also connecting it to wifi lets others see whats ur connecting so they see ur cam system just plain TRASH

We love how simple it is to install.
Need to be able to reorder systems
I really like the app, but I wish that I could reorder the systems. I just added the Blink Wired Doorbell 2K+, and I put it on a new system called Doorbell. Since that name starts with a D, I thought it would be placed before the existing systems (they’re in alphabetical order), but instead, the app put it after them.

Blink Cameras
I have had 5 cameras and now down 3. Two went out for reasons unknown but I like them. I’ve changed batteries and deleted and reinstalled but they still wouldn’t work. But my other 3 working good. It’s shows good pictures and the footage is pretty good!
Worst DIY Camera system
I buy and sell CCTV SECURITY CAMERAS. Everything from battery/wifi to hard wired PoE. BLINK has the worst setup, programming and operating system on the market. Once you’ve added the device, god help you if you get a new phone, delete the app and want to reset up later. I can’t imagine someone successfully setting this up on their own. My client called me to help and I watched the YouTube videos “just scan and you’re done in a few minutes” WRONG & LIES, even spent over an hour with support who had me delete app, delete system, rename my WiFi and still no connection. Their response “I’ve never seen this before” no resolution just dropped the call , when I called back. I don’t have notes on your account let’s just redo everything again… DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT. CHEAP ISNT GOOD, and Good isn’t CHEAP. Sold my client a hardwired camera and was installed programmed and on his phone live with 24/7 4K recording in 55minutes. Less than the blink support call that couldn’t resolve their product’s issue. You’ve been warned.

Excellent product
Works as intended. Motion detection and notifications are on the dot.
Useless since they introduced AI.
No point to this till they sort out the wrecked functionality. It was fine and then they ruined it by bringing out their shiny new toy. Even without the AI option my camera will now go days without the app showing any new motion or videos. And I KNOW that’s wrong since I get post and walk out the door right in front of it etc. like all the other companies they’ve jumped on the AI bandwagon before it’s fully ready, and ruined their own product. Avoid Blink products and this app……. at least for now!!

Change out batteries every 2-3 days
Sucks honestly always have to change out batteries, sometimes app doesn’t open no signal

Most of the time, the app won't open the footage; when I open the app, it shuts down on its own—I open it again, and it closes again.
Skip the AI. It’s awful
I paid for the AI service and most of the time it’s so inaccurate it’s not worth trusting. I get alerts that a person is in my backyard when I’m gone and when I look at the camera not a single thing is moving. I get tons of alerts to movement and nothing is moving. I get told that deer are in the yard and it’s coyote. My dog is also an opossum at 80 lbs. javelina and foxes. So I would skip the AI alerts unless you’re into it for the comedy if you want reliable alerts don’t trust it.
