I believe this is an Apple issue and not caused by the developer.
Best App EVER
I am so happy I stumbled on this app! I was getting 15+ (sometimes 20+) political text messages DAILY. This app stops that! It’s working beautifully! Thank you to the developers!!
It work on iOS 26; it runs but doesn't take effect.
Seems due to iOS 26 system restrictions, all third-party spam SMS and phone apps are ineffective, and Apple itself cannot effectively block spam. Similarly, third-party browsers are prohibited from using plugins, yet Apple integrates various browser plugins into Safari. Furthermore, the system cannot be downgraded to previous versions. This increasingly feels like domineering rather than privacy protection; privacy concerns are merely an excuse.
Therefore this shows that Apple is more concerned with itself than with user experience. And user experience is like a marketing gimmick; the same goes for privacy protection in my personal experience.
Based on my experience with Apple China, I feel that Apple's privacy protection and policy restrictions on applications are like a big rogue managing small rogues.
Therefore this app is useless. Although it runs on iOS 26, it doesn't block spam SMS messages. The filtering rules still follow the system's built-in rules。

Used to work - No longer does
This app used to work well but no longer does. Constant spam messages from email addresses. Do not subscribe to their app.

It DID work but now it doesn’t
Garbage. After a few weeks it stopped working. I still receive texts from messages with keywords I blocked.

So far so good. The free version does the job and with keywords I plugged in to block, it stopped all the spammers for a couple weeks then it started to not catch the keywords I blocked. Maybe I have to purchase the pro version I guess?

Wounderful - removed my 20 daily political texts.
I now no longer receive those annoying political texts 20 times a day which were so distracting that I would switch text alerting off which meant I would miss important texts from friends and family. This app was easy to set up and use. I am so grateful to have restored the use of text messages without those annoying political texts

Used to work now it doesn’t
When I first downloaded and set up this app (I paid for the higher level service and automatic filtering) it worked great. All of my spam political texts stopped immediately. Then beginning in October 2025 my iphone just started to blow up again with approximately 15 political texts a day. I checked and DontText is still checked off as what filters my texts. It just isn’t working anymore.

Unfortunately the “restore” functionality isn’t working and I can’t get it to recognize my subscription, thanks dev for looking at this.

This works immediately on free plan
I have been getting up to 20 political tax per day and no matter how much I say delete and report junk they keep coming back in full force. This app saved me so much agony from these urgent political messages that would stress me out all day. Overnight, my text is back to just personal people I love and filtering out the political texts. It’s been a lifesaver

Works Too Well
At first I was amazed at how well this filter seemed to work. I immediately stopped receiving all political texts even though I had only created one single filter of a specific person’s name I was avoiding. However, after a month I realized it was filtering out so much important stuff, even though these texts did not contain the keyword. All my account reminders stopped coming for bills due, doctor appointments and specific text messages I had signed up for. I couldn’t figure out how to stop it from being overzealous in its filtering so I had to turn it off. Bummer.
