It works, sort of

This app is better than nothing but still lets texts from area codes I’ve blocked through occasionally. Very frustrating. I’m bailing and trying another app.

NO TECH SUPPORT

Why isn’t it working if it is paid for and turned on?

Don’t bother

TONS of spam with words that are supposed to be blocked get through almost every day. I emailed the Help address that they give twice and no one responded. This app is somewhat of a scam.

My last option

I’ve been trying to reach support for weeks and have not heard back. So hopefully leaving a 1-star will make someone appear to care. I suddenly keep receiving spam texts despite my Blockr list specifically screening for words contained in the text. I’d like help with what to do about that.

Inconsistent results

Please improve the algorithm. Too much spam getting past the filters and settings.

Blocks

I have a lot of words in text that get through the Blocker

Less-than-useless junkware

This app filters NOTHING!!!! Add any text you want to block, any sender, etc. it makes no difference whatsoever. This app is a total and utter scam, a waste of money. In fact, since adding Blockr, I actually get far, far more spam texts than I used to. It’s almost as though the act of adding key phrases, text, or senders to Blockr greatly increases the volume of spam by a factor of 10 or 20. You have to wonder if the creator of Blockr isn’t actually supplying my phone number to the spammers!

Use to work

Doesn’t work anymore and is very buggy, i haven’t changed devices they broke something on this app through an update probably

Finally

Finally an app that blocks the absurd amount of spam text I get. The only thing it doesn’t block for whatever reason is coinbase spam. Everything else it doesn’t though

Blocker not working.

Turned on my phone today at 10 o’clock and had to delete over 10 unblocked text messages from the Republican Party going to get rid of blocker from my phone.

Was good? Now not!

All of the blocked 332 area codes are getting through now? The app quit working after 2 months.

Sort of works

Despite many custom blocked words, some texts with the blocked words show up in Messenger. I have also set up the application in settings according to the instructions. Rather disappointing.

So good

Best asap im a while

Useless without agreeing to free trial

No function unless you agree to a free trial.

Works to a degree

When I first downloaded it seemed to work well, but recently (maybe after or around the last update) it’s not working and I’m getting lots of texts again sadly.

Stopped spam texts cold!

I was receiving up to 15 political text at a time throughout my day. This stopped them the INSTANT I activated it!!! It stopped spam emails briefly but now I’m getting them again. Not sure how to fix that. But I recommend this app.

I tried it and doesn’t work

The app blocks messages from my phone company and doesn’t block these email scams that go to your messaging folder, even after I programmed the app to block anything with an @ symbol. What’s worse, at the end of day 5 the app would not let me cancel my subscription. On the “Allow”page, the instructions don’t make any sense. I put in the email address that Verizon uses to communicate with users and the box says “Block” instead of “Allow”. Why would Verizon be on a block list anyhow? Is this app some kind of scam? I think so.

Blockr does not work

After installing this blocker app, I still get spam calls, probably even more so I will be removing it. I would not pay a dime for this.

I’m ecstatic

I am close to the end of my 7 day free trial but definitely keeping Blockr. I had to reach out to customer service for an issue which they responded and fixed immediately. My last spam text was right before I installed Blockr. Nothing since and I was getting many messages every day.
Blockr is a keeper.
