Best TimeBlocking tool I could find

Exactly what I am looking for!
Very intuitive and easy to use

Use it to plan my free time

I kind of reversed the use case. I love it so much. Everything that I want to be spending my time doing I put in the activity types list and it helps a ton.

IMO Atimetracker is better for tracking but this is a really special app for planning my free time or picking what I want to do. TimeFinder is also good for this.

BlockyTime and TimeFinder are genuinely changing my life. Its like I can’t function without them.

FAQ

What is BlockyTime and how does it work?

BlockyTime is a time logging application that allows users to track their activities without the need for traditional start/stop timers. Instead, users select events and tap blocks of time, making the process quick and intuitive. The app aims to solve the persistence problem often associated with time tracking by making it more relaxing and less energy-intensive.

What are the key features of BlockyTime?

Key features include a super easy and rapid method to track time, custom classification of events by type, details, or priorities, and the unique linking of events to objects for multi-angle analysis. It also offers commenting for event details, statistical analysis via pie or bar charts, trend checking with line charts, goal setting, and data backup to iCloud.

Is BlockyTime free to use?

Yes, the application is available for free. The provided information indicates no in-app purchases or advertisements, suggesting a completely free user experience.

Who would benefit from using BlockyTime?

BlockyTime is suitable for a wide range of users including students, researchers, managers, people with part-time jobs, salespeople, new parents, and anyone who wants to understand where their time goes, analyze their habits, and improve their time management skills.

Why is time tracked in 30-minute blocks?

Time is separated into 30-minute blocks for rapid tracking, which is more convenient for users to remember events. While this may reduce absolute accuracy, the app emphasizes that for long-term statistical analysis (like weekly or monthly), this block size has minimal negative impact and prioritizes quicker tracking over meticulous precision.
