Recently it’s constantly downloading settings and never actually available to use. Completely useless.
Forced updates
Forced updates are too frequent and offer little in actual value added. If there are new products now displayed on the mobile app then there would be more positives to say about the app, but that is not the case

Log in change
Out of no where, every update, which is often, you need your b unit to log in. Was not the case previously. Can freeze you out if you do not have it immediately available. Short sighted cya behaviour, again from folks who just never care about their clients.
Please make better
It’s so bad I have to use yahoo finance app for basic mobile watch lists and perplexity for most other basic things. Main current functionality is IB, alerts, and PORT. BBG please make better. Also how isn’t there an AI query…

Quite ironic knowing majority of bbg infrastructure runs on legacy tech
Unnecessary updates now incompatible with some devices
Because my phone lacks sufficient storage to download the newest IOS, I can now no longer use the Bloomberg app. This is unacceptable. There should obviously be an option to use the legacy version in this instance.

MSG-Sent messages
Hello, it would be great if I could go to my sent messages on the app and have the option to reply to all. This does not exist today on the app-only on the terminal. It is helpful to have this option to continue to keep the email chain organized if there is an additional thought needed to be added.
UI team needs to resign
Trading off functionality over simplicity makes Bloomberg app completely useless.
Terrible
I can no longer export/share research pdfs. One MUST view them in the terrible Bloomberg pdf viewer. Bring back this functionality or I will have to replace my entire mobile workflow with AlphaSense, which will mean I’ll be using bberg solely for IB. terrible design decision shame on you app developer.

Worksheets
How do I delete securities from my worksheet? I see there is an edit button on the top right but the security list doesn’t show up as an option. Also, when I add the securities I need they show up at the bottom of the worksheet with so much space in between.

Half baked
This feels odd that almost in 2024 the best BB can offer for an app is one you can’t trade with, and the UI is both clunky and painful to use.

Forced updates and breaking device support is a peculiar strategy for a product that costs more than a manhattan studio.
