Great school app
Hi developers of Bloomz!
It’s a great app, clean and easy to navigate.
My only feedback is that sometimes the keyboard hangs up over the submit button so you have to close the app and start over. I would also love it if we can make edits to messages sent while they’re still unread instead of sending the additional message , when you forgot to add something or made a spelling error.
Also when attaching images in messages if you have written the message already it deletes what you wrote and sends the image and not the text with the image, so you need to retype everything.

Terrible support no replies
No replies to support email. Upgraded account and cannot get a reply to any of my support questions and upgrade not reflecting.
What happened to this app??
I’ve been using this app for years and it has been great for communication with my kid’s teacher. Since the recent update my conversation with the teacher disappears if I leave the screen. It says I have 7 notifications from the school but I click on it and it only shows lasts year’s announcements from a principal that is no longer at the school. I try to send a private message to the teacher and it sends it to every teacher in that grade. Any communication I’ve managed to get with the teacher goes away so we can’t continue with any conversation. She has to contact me first and then I can respond. Whatever they did in this update needs to be undone. I hate what they’ve done! It worked great before.

Worst app ever
How is this rated 4 stars? We’ve been forced to use this for multiple years now. What enhancements and “major” improvements could they be possibly be talking about. Nothing improves. Navigation is confusing with menus and empty sections that are never used. Should have just focused on messaging between teacher and parents. But has a terrible calendar, hard to navigate announcements history, and now some sort of rating system called “Interactions” where your kid can be rated? By whom? I clicked it and got a nice little animated donut chart that filled up and told me my child is 0% positive. Same to you, Blooms. Same to you.

I loathe this app. But the school uses it. Doesn't solve any communication issues. Enhances existing confusion by adding another layer to the onion. And reinvents every wheel from the dot com era along the way. Only not as good.
I wrote a message, attached a photo, and the only option presented to me was "send" on the attachment screen. So I clicked it. It sent the photo and erased the message I wrote like it never existed. That's not normal for a messaging app. Where's the prior art for that? This app is full of idiomatic nonsense. Worth every penny.

Horrible App
Nothing loads, awful user experience, lack of troubleshooting

The app is great for schools other than the notifications never go away!
There’s Got To Be a Better App
Trying to update your profile and check your notifications on this app is like trying to do heart surgery - you need years of schooling to figuring it out. It doesn’t update or save what you try to do. Buttons don’t click. Kind of a useless app.

I’m glad my son is switching schools finally, the Bloomz app has to be the least ok out of all the bad apps including parent square. Why do I still get text instead of notifications on the app? Why is it that I must go to the
School website to figure out dates for events/ early outs/ open houses. I really think it has to do with the operators. Unfortunately this is what I’m receiving as the awful service.

New update ruined the app
Unfortunately, since this app updated to include more features such as AI. It hasn’t worked well since. I’ve completed all the troubleshooting recommended over several months and I’m just done trying. Images are blurry. Videos load incredibly slow. None of this was an issue before the app updated to its newest features. I’ll be moving to class dojo instead.

Messages don’t send
Clicking send doesn’t mean that people will get your message. You’ll find it in drafts hours later when you wonder why no response from your teacher.
Meh
Really wish this app worked like Class Dojo, it takes forever to load, and it has constant issues. Like right now, nothing loads, not even the message threads and I was expecting a message from the teacher, but now I can’t even get the message, also don’t like that we can’t communicate with other parents. All in all, it’s very subpar for a charter school app.

Never opens on the first attempt, crashes often, and notifications inconsistent

I really hate this app. The first time you open it nothing happens. You have to exit clear out the app and go back into it for it to load. Notifications suck. You get a notification but doesn’t tell you what for so you have to sit and go through everything just to make it go away and usually it pretty much nothing. At most it’s because you have to click on to see who it was sent to which is dumb. Please fix these issues and make it more user friendly. I wish the school didn’t have to have a contact with this app for the next few years so that they could just ditch it and use something better.

Terrible School App
This is by far the worst app that I am forced to use with my kid’s class. Why are they incapable of just putting the content of the message into the push notification? I get push notifications and emails telling me I need to log into the app each time to view the messages. I emailed support with the feature request and they said they won’t do it due to “privacy”. BS. I get push notifications from every other app on my phone this is no excuse.
