I’m glad my son is switching schools finally, the Bloomz app has to be the least ok out of all the bad apps including parent square. Why do I still get text instead of notifications on the app? Why is it that I must go to the
School website to figure out dates for events/ early outs/ open houses. I really think it has to do with the operators. Unfortunately this is what I’m receiving as the awful service.

New update ruined the app
Unfortunately, since this app updated to include more features such as AI. It hasn’t worked well since. I’ve completed all the troubleshooting recommended over several months and I’m just done trying. Images are blurry. Videos load incredibly slow. None of this was an issue before the app updated to its newest features. I’ll be moving to class dojo instead.

Messages don’t send
Clicking send doesn’t mean that people will get your message. You’ll find it in drafts hours later when you wonder why no response from your teacher.
Meh
Really wish this app worked like Class Dojo, it takes forever to load, and it has constant issues. Like right now, nothing loads, not even the message threads and I was expecting a message from the teacher, but now I can’t even get the message, also don’t like that we can’t communicate with other parents. All in all, it’s very subpar for a charter school app.

Never opens on the first attempt, crashes often, and notifications inconsistent

I really hate this app. The first time you open it nothing happens. You have to exit clear out the app and go back into it for it to load. Notifications suck. You get a notification but doesn’t tell you what for so you have to sit and go through everything just to make it go away and usually it pretty much nothing. At most it’s because you have to click on to see who it was sent to which is dumb. Please fix these issues and make it more user friendly. I wish the school didn’t have to have a contact with this app for the next few years so that they could just ditch it and use something better.

Terrible School App
This is by far the worst app that I am forced to use with my kid’s class. Why are they incapable of just putting the content of the message into the push notification? I get push notifications and emails telling me I need to log into the app each time to view the messages. I emailed support with the feature request and they said they won’t do it due to “privacy”. BS. I get push notifications from every other app on my phone this is no excuse.

Very slow and laggy
Serves its purpose, but the app is very slow and laggy… not great for urgent matters

Absolutely the WORST app schools/sports teams can use. I would give it zero stars if I could. It’s extremely difficult to navigate. Almost impossible to find previous messages. It’s just awful. I wish my kids’ schools and sports teams would choose a different app because this one is just outrageously horrible! Not being dramatic. Just fed up!

Take out AI
Since the update of AI being added to the app, it has become almost impossible to write your own posts and add multiple photos to a Bloomz post. Please remove the buggy AI feature to return to normal use of the app, I’m close to begging my entire school to switch to something more user friendly. The UI went to **** when AI was added. Also please fix the notification system, I’m never getting messages from my parents.

This App SUCKS
You have to pay to save pictures your teacher posts?? And nothing ever loads! It just sits there with the spinner for way too long
New changes ruined it.
This app worked wonderfully up until the changes most recently. Now it constantly runs slow and images/videos fail. I’m really considering using another platform. It’s so frustrating.
Worst app on my phone!
Updated review (previous review below). For the past days, my and my wife’s Bloomz app has stopped working, even after updating. It basically kicked us out of login and doesn’t allow to get back. It’s really the worst app ever. Would give it zero stars if I could.
Terrible app. It is always looking as if there is 1 unread notification (number 1 on top of the app icon) but when you get in the app there’s no way to tell where the notification is, I’ve looked everywhere and found nothing, so it’s always difficult to tell if you need to open and read it or not, I’ve missed notifications from the teacher due to that. It’s been like that for a while now even after updating to the last version.

Bloomz App
Almost every time I use this app it is slow to log in or load updates. I keep getting error messages when trying to look at an update or photo. I have tried everything to make the app work correctly but it makes it worst. I will have full signal/connection and it still loads like it is dial up internet. I pray I do not have to use this app again.

Horrible
Can’t get into app. When I was in it couldn’t refresh now can’t log back in at all. This is horrible
Always issues
The data always has a delay in loading, app crashes often, I get notifications but then the new data isn’t actually loaded in the app so I have to log out and in to TRY and get it to load but rarely does.
Waste of $125!
I am so upset that I paid money for this almost unusable app. Please, Bloomz, hire a professional who can get this together or refund all the teachers’ money. My frustration grows every day!
Won’t let me log in
The app auto logged me out. When I tried to log in it said my username or password were in correct. I used forgot password and it told me the email address I used to create the account, and verified, was an invalid email address. Now it’s stuck in the create a new password page. When I enter the new password it keeps telling me that the password is incorrect and to enter the correct password. The app has been glitchy since I started using it, and if it wasn’t what my child’s teacher decided to use I would never use this app. There are many other apps that are far better and don’t have these issues.

Not as good as before
Not sure what happened but after they upgraded the app the quality of photos and videos are no longer the same when uploaded. Also can't send long texts.
