Won’t let me create account
Incorrect Pars
Is this “Words with Friends,” or a Golf Round?
Impossible.
After going through the registration process, I couldn’t find a way to a course flyover option without signing up for a $79.00 subscription (for the love of God, can I just explore the app first?!).
Plus, the graphics remind me of an arcade game, and having grown up on the tenth hole of a golf course... well... “arcade” is not the vibe for me. I mean, is this Words with Friends or a golf Round?
I will stick with TheGrint and buy their Autograph series rangefinder.
Two stars because at least it has hardware integration into a system, which might be important enough to some people for them to overlook the arcade feel and splash screen abuse.
Cheers
Weird lock in

many metric choices
App and gps needs work
pros: the music application and controls are excellent.
Cons: app doesn’t keep score without an upgrade
Lose gps and can’t get the correct gps signal
Course maps do not save
Dishonest company
Gets worse with every update
Great app
Works great
Useless
GPS moves you to next hole.
Click to previous hole? 2 seconds later your back to GPS location… entered score gone.
Go back again… and reset again.
Friends saying “what are you doing???”
Me “fighting with this useless app”
Tell me you outsourced development and nobody writing code has ever used the app without telling me you outsourced the development.
I’m going to return the speaker… useless.
Blue tees app/hardware
So Terribly Frustrating
List of Issues
1. Rainmaker data was supposed to sync up to the golf app to better inform swing recommendations. It does not. The feature is “Coming Soon”
2. I played a 9 hole round at an 18 hole course and lost all my data because I didn’t tell the app I was playing 9.
3. Learned from my mistake, played 9 on an 18 after telling the app I was playing 9. I just got an email congratulating me for playing the back nine even (and even that’s wrong, I was -36 because I only played nine)
4. Played a local course near me, went to put in my bogey on 1 only to see that Blue Tees things hole 1 is a par 5. It is not. It has never been.
Without that list, I’d give it 3.5 star review. 18 Birdies, Bushnell, and even GHIN are all better apps.
If the ecosystem can come together in time, I might not return ~$1,000 worth of gear.
Note: I want to love this stuff!
Terrible product, worse support
Addition to app.
Frustrated
Today I played a 9 hole course. Went to put in my freaking bogey and noticed they had it labeled a par 5. It isn’t. Sigh.
Played another course with a layout that changed many months ago. App had no clue. Grrrr
I spent about $1000 on Blue Tees stuff. I want to love, but damn. Rough start.
