Very Buggy - Please fix
The app is a great idea but it is plagued with bugs that make using it very frustrating. It DOES NOT sync with the Rainmaker (launch monitor) and so you have to enter your club details manually. Support says that syncing is coming, but it is very disappointing to ship both an expensive product (Rainmaker is $700) plus a premium app ($99/year) to have ZERO syncing. I was using the app this week on two rounds; I was counting on the app to give me yardage but the app kept saying the center of the pin was 999 yards every other hold. It ended up being completely useless. Also, note that your bag randomly changes every so often. On the eighth hole, my 9 iron just disappeared. If the company is reading these reviews, please put some serious time and energy into fixing the issues!

The spam for the subscription is insane
I don’t need every 2-3 holes the screen on the speaker pushing for the subscription. I was going to get it when I bought the speaker but now I just refuse to because it’s so annoying. Ridiculous whoever thought this was a good idea
Not worth the money
We get 4 months of golf in Canada. This thing hasn’t worked well. Keep being told to wait for update. One day nothing works, next weekend only music will play. Next time I go to use it, only the gps works. Not worth the $250 price. Buy a cheap speaker & a rangefinder. If I could get my money back I would but only get 30 days.

Terrible App
Cannot create an account, the app won’t move past the first page. I also can’t report an issue for the same reason. The app and the device is useless.

Day 2 of owning and the app crashes and it’s useless. It’s a glorified JBL speaker if the app isn’t working

Incorrect Pars
I have had repeated problems with incorrect pars showing on the app. i .e. A par 5 showing as a par 3 etc. The app shows the correct par for all 18 holes when I open the app but during the course of play, random holes will then show with incorrect pars. I have reported this several times and they say it’s corrected but it’s not. I have the current version 1.16.0 and the most current iOS. I’ve rebooted my iPhone and deleted and then reinstalled the app to no avail.

Is this “Words with Friends,” or a Golf Round?
After reading a review of the Blue Tees rangefinder, I thought the app integration sounded fantastic, but before buying the rangefinder, I wanted to explore the app.
Impossible.
After going through the registration process, I couldn’t find a way to a course flyover option without signing up for a $79.00 subscription (for the love of God, can I just explore the app first?!).
Plus, the graphics remind me of an arcade game, and having grown up on the tenth hole of a golf course... well... “arcade” is not the vibe for me. I mean, is this Words with Friends or a golf Round?
I will stick with TheGrint and buy their Autograph series rangefinder.
Two stars because at least it has hardware integration into a system, which might be important enough to some people for them to overlook the arcade feel and splash screen abuse.

Weird lock in
No clear way to cancel membership after trial. They will lock you in and make it difficult to cancel after charging your card.

There’s a few pros and cons:
pros: the music application and controls are excellent.
Cons: app doesn’t keep score without an upgrade
Lose gps and can’t get the correct gps signal

Course maps do not save
I’ve contacted support about this but received a canned response. I’ve downloaded my course map at my regular course and it does not save. I have to download the app each time.
Dishonest company
My rangefinder won’t show yardage after 1 year unless I pay them $50 a year. What a joke of a company! Are you kidding me
Gets worse with every update
Updated the app today and it’s worse than it was from the previous update. Not only does it not have 3D maps now the 2D is gone. It switches holes before I can even enter the score on the hole I just finished. Also, now the yardage completely messes up. Today as I was getting closer to the green it showed my yardage getting further away. Also, if I skip a hole, the yardage completely freezes up and I have to force close and resume the game. Beyond frustrating and becoming completely worthless to use….and I pay for this mess!

Great app
This is the best app I have used. It keeps up with so much data. After downloading it for the free year with a range finder I’m hooked.
Works great
Does exactly what it says it does. AI caddy is great if you’re a newer golfer trying to crack 100, 90, etc… the AI caddy will go by your skill & choose safe shots.
Useless
I’ve now thrown away 3 scores because it’s impossible to keep score. Play a hole and move to next hole to keep pace of play?
GPS moves you to next hole.
Click to previous hole? 2 seconds later your back to GPS location… entered score gone.
Go back again… and reset again.

Blue tees app/hardware
Speaker is excellent quality. App is really good…..except you can’t actually use it. This app and all blue tees products are good with a paywall. You can’t even use the in app scorecard without buying the subscription which is crazy overpriced. The fact that the developers think the subscription is worth more than PlayStation Network or Xbox live is comical. Your speaker won’t even display yardages unless you pay. Save yourself some money and buy a wingman
