Near perfect already!
Beautifully designed and an excellent app for quickly capturing the rough sketches of a song (especially considering this is only version 1.0 at the time of writing!)
There are only a couple of small features I know I’d use every session-
a very simple reverb effect for a bit of ambience while recording, and a tap tempo function for the metronome. Aside from that, it’s a fantastic start, and I’m excited to see how it develops.

Wonderful
I have used it for less than a week and the accessibility of the recording has already exploded my creative process. The built in monitor is perfect and allows me to make tunes wherever I am, opening up a whole new world of sampling for me. It’s brilliant. Thank you for making it !
4-Track rekorder in Western format
In my opinion, one of the best 4-track recorders for smartphones and similar devices. Records in pocket format. Intuitive to use, with all the essential features and a clean design. No frills. That’s what makes it fun.

Versatile and sounds great
This is a game changer for anyone wanting to record a demo or a song sketch.
You get four tracks to play with but if that’s not enough, you can bounce any tracks you’ve already recorded down to one which frees up another three. (Google it; the Beatles used to do this)
I’m not sure what special sauce goes into the processing (there’s some knobs you can mess with) but it sounds lovely when you play an acoustic guitar through it, like there’s a tape effect.
All you need is wired headphones and you can lay down a fairly simple demo in double quick time. It’s really simple to use and the basic GUI is perfect.
Top tip - whack the phone into airplane mode to stop any unwanted distractions while recording

I have been waiting for this app to be released, ever since i saw about it on his IG profile. I bought it and it was worth the price,
Me personaly i was needing for something like this, just a simple, plain 4 track, easy, sober, no complications, portable just the default audio recording app.
I can not believe something so basic and essential wasnt already created as an app and i cant understand why, probably because app developers dont care no more about real necesities, just dont have creativity or simple because everything is a monopoly.
Well i think that this app should be generic integrated to apple products or any mobil device.
Me personaly i was needing for something like this, just a simple, plain 4 track, easy, sober, no complications, portable just the default audio recording app.

Demo beast
This app is incredible for getting raw multi track ideas and demos down without having to bust out the whole setup. All you need is an instrument, your phone, and an idea.
Incredible app & beautiful design
This app has been so fun to explore and create quick ideas without the stress and perfectionism that sometimes comes along with music production in a traditional DAW on a computer. It feels like a fun way to explore new ideas in a voice memo/loose fashion. Love it and the incredible design so much!

Intuitive/simple interface without the distractions of the modern DAW. It has all the tools you need to record basic songs/demos & takes you out of the trap of getting lost in endless presets making your sessions more productive! Worth the purchase ✅
BEST APP FOR DEMOS
i didn’t think i would enjoy it as much as i have, but this app is GENUINELY AMAZING I WOULD GIVE IT 10/5 stars if i could. the ui is intuitive and it has additional features like merging tracks aswell as the basics. LOVE IT!!

amazing alternative to voice memos! very simple and straightforward interface that is conducive to recording quick ideas. bought a dongle for my headphones specifically for this app. got a bunch of great features like panning, mixing down, etc - possibilities are endless.

Everything I hoped for!
I've been waiting for an app that I can use to jot down ideas with and create songs before I fully record them. It's really convenient and fun to use.

Does everything I’d want it to
Ive been playing around with blueprint for the majority of the day and as an audio person I’ve been living for it. It lets me lay down some guitar and sing so incredibly easy to make a demo or a high quality recording for reels or whatever. It is such a perfect piece of software that fulfills a need that simple voice recorders can’t do, but small and simple enough to do so much more. I’m excited for updates to plug in interfaces to get all four tracks recording at once but right now I love working with the software and the limitations are awesome.

Super intuitive and practical
Very excited to see this app develop. It’s very I intuitive and has some built in light mixing options to really make capturing demos easy and fun.
Exciting, could use a couple more features and tweaks!
First off, I have been greatly enjoying Blueprint thus far. I’ve followed its development for a while and was excited to see it being ported to iOS. After experimenting with it all day I have some things I’d like to praise and some issues I’d like to address.
The DAW is very easy to use and I really appreciate the simplified approach. This is clearly intended to be used with minimal fuss or worrying and I was grateful not to have to mess with the settings too much just to get started. The controls and effects are straightforward and there is a lot of room to change the sound of the things you recorded. This is all done without making the app feel overloaded or too much like other, more involved DAWs.
A couple of things to fix stuck out to me. First, when I would arm a track, I noticed that audio would not be recorded onto that track unless I pressed the red record button in the bottom right corner. Simply pressing “play” would not record the audio. I confusedly missed a couple of takes at first before realizing this and I think it would be good to leave a note about this feature somewhere, or to make it so that when you press play with a track recorded, you record onto that track (though I suppose this feature is useful for monitoring!) Second, a varispeed control would be nice, and totally in the spirit of 4-track recording. I’ve got an old chord organ that plays slightly flat, and it would be nice to be able to tweak playback and recording speed to change pitch.
This is overall quite a good tool and I will be using it a lot to record demos and mess around on the go. The two problems are not dealbreakers but I hope to see them addressed one way or another in future updates. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Thank you for this thoughtful review! I'm glad the simple approach resonates. A note about arming will be in the next update: the Help menu will say that with a track armed, play only monitors, and the red button records. As for varispeed, that’s definitely coming in the future. I agree it would be particularly useful for old and slightly flat chord organs : - ) Happy tracking.
