WAFFLES ID 🤪

for some states u r now required to provide an ID to use this app, leave it to bluesky to lack a spine and bend over to boomers whim. I expected nothing less when that one time a site owner had a crashout over “waffles” and uses claude to code which has broken the site before many times…AND THE AUDACITY THEY EXPECT TO HAND OVER MY ID, GROW A PAIR FOR ONCE.

Stale, boring, uninteresting echo chamber

At some point hating Trump gets old.

Resist the deanonimization of the internet

No way in hell am I giving my SSN to some random company that was the cause of 70,000 discord account leaks. Site was a decent xitter alt, but poor moderation & now this means I’m not coming back.
No site is worth age verification even if they could assure your info wouldn’t be sold to the highest bidder in a week.

What could have been

It was an alright alternative to Twitter for a while needed some updates here and their and it would have been fine. But then they added the K.W.S. or Kids Web Services. To be honest kids shouldn’t even be on most online platforms and the ones that they are should be heavily monitored by their parents not the companies. So i find the fact that i have to ise my social, credit card, or ID with a third party i know nothing about completely invasive into my personal privacy. And what do they do with my info i dont trust them to just hold onto it to verify, the fact they hold onto it means they can do a plethora of things with my personal info and assign what ever to me. And what if they get hacked, thats my personal info they just lost their not the government and wont reimburse me for damages if my info gets out. All in all because of K.W.S. I might have to stop using the app altogether.
