Constant log ins. Gave up!
The app keeps dropping out and I have to login again & again. It’s never smooth & easy. Sometimes it works & sometimes not. Customer service is poor & doesn’t respond. Great content etc but that’s all.

The people that run Bluesky are trash. It’s another failed experiment and it just keeps getting worse.
Protected replies, I dont want to see them
if people don't want anyone conversing or arguing with them, I shouldnt be forced to see their posts. Let me hide all protected posts from my feed because why should I be forced to see opinions I can't interact with.

iPad
Not optimized for iPad. Which means it loads as small phone-sized box in the middle and doesn’t resize. So it looks stupid on a big screen. Do better?
Another update
Still posting starter packs and posted packs I can’t get in. It says “the Stater pack is no longer there with a blue bar. Posting requires you to hit the share button from 10 to 100 times to get the pop up to copy. This began four updates ago.

It just starts flickering
It’s a bit broken. Suddenly decided to flicker. Have to quit and restart. Not good.
Fix the age range share
Getting really tired of the age sharing.. multiple times in the same day, and I am still in the same location. It should remember my answer and not ask me over and over.
Annoying!
Even though my settings are set to always share my age range, every SINGLE time I open Bluesky, I’m asked to share my age range! This is so damn annoying that it’s pointless to keep this app on any of my devices.

Getting worse…
My bluesky app has always, until now, defaulted to showing my “Following” tab. Since the most recent update I’m forced to the “Discover” tab by default. I have no interest in an app that presumes they know what interests me.
If I wanted an app that attempted to sway my interests I’d have stuck with Metas range of BS apps.
Keep up this trend of effing up what worked, and I and many others will drop Bluesky as quickly as we did facebook.

Font Size Reset to Default
As described in the title, after the update today, I found the font size always reset to default upon startup

Great-looking place with wildly inconsistent moderation. Drafts still don't save additional posts after the first one and regularly ignore edits.
Age Verification
Even if you use Apple’s share age range feature so you don’t have to give over your ID, they’ll pester you and make you share your age range EVERY SINGLE TIME you open the app. Support is no help. They don’t even read your emails and just tell you to contact KWS even though I didn’t verify through that service.

I love Bluesky Social — it’s my favorite Social Media “instant update” platform now. X & Meta, gone.
Bluesky has fair moderation, it keeps the public informed in a safe way, it is where 98% of “Gay Twitter” refugees relocated, so for me that’s was a huge plus as most if not ALL of my friends are here or (soon) will be here on the app with us. It’s a great app — new functions and features are being added ALL the time, and now this app has surpassed Twitter in terms of quality of content and ease of use. Also, data is available for you to erase or download as you need, and they keep the MAGA crowd from doing what they do on every other platform out there — destroy it with hate. It’s the only app of this kind that I’ll use actively because of this. Keep it up, BSky team!
