It’s a good app if you want to hear about one side of a political structure
Content filtering is awful. There are artist and scholars I’d love to interact with, but I’ll have to do it else where.
No iPad app 2.5 years later
I wish that there was an iPad native Bluesky app. I follow a few people who post pictures on Bluesky and other platforms. But it sucks that the highest resolution I can experience on Bluesky is based on the iPhone screen size. So I’ll continue using other platforms for photo sharing instead of this one.

You literally can’t click on anything in your feed. I can’t even click on profiles I search. It’s a terrible app

As soon as i tried to make an account after putting in my information the continue button was completely unresponsive along with the back one and im unable to fix it. Is anyone else having this issue?? And how do i even fix this? I tried closing it and re putting it in and its the same thing over and over again. Is this app unfinished or something?

I won’t lie. iPhone dimensions when landscaped on an iPad is so atrociously bad.
Various bugs
Still having issues playing videos. Also, muting a keyword and going back to the timeline makes the timeline glitch out to the point I have to quit the app
Jailbreak…?
Hate to say this but the app doesn’t open at all with a jailbroken device, I’m running Sileo on IOS 15 and the only way I’m able to open the app up is by turning off my jailbreak… It did before the last update so I’m not too sure what’s changed? :o

Lost access to two accounts
Eventually they just stop sending verification codes via email. This has been an issue since before even the invite-only beta but still hasn’t even been acknowledged. There is no alternative verification method so as soon as you stop receiving those emails you’ll never be able to login again because the “support” team takes several months, yes months, to respond and will then just refuse to help.
I’ve already completely lost one account and I’ve only got my current account because I’m still logged in on the app. As soon as I get logged out or even just switch phone I’ll lose access to this account, at which point I won’t bother to try again.

Abysmal Moderation
If you criticize the billionaire class on Bluesky, especially those named in the Epstein Files, Bluesky mods will put 4 whopping strikes on your account and ban you for three days! If you want to try the app, switch to a protocol run by people who are not protecting wealthy predators.
