VPN Warning
If you use a VPN service on your iPhone then expect this app to keep throwing “WiFi Not Connected” errors.

This app often has glitches and makes one long for the days of a simple “on-off” switch on your stereo. Tech support focuses solely on your hardware (brand of router, type of cables) when you reach out, rather than accepting feedback on the bugs in their app. Too bad.
Grouping speakers
I can never group speakers, I often have to exit the app and re-start it just to get the speaker working that I was listening to before trying to group them. I wish I’d stuck with Sonos.
Latest update can’t connect.
Was decent for a few years until latest update. Stopped loading content and now won’t connect to my network. Please fix this app so I don’t have to buy another streamer!
Doesn’t work
Loses connection with my 1 of my 2 BlueSound speakers daily. Hangs all the time. Won’t pick up other devices. It is a seriously flawed app and makes me regret the space these speakers are taking up in my house
Poor UI
This controller has a very poor User Interface and keeps sending messages. I got this to work but after lots of trouble. I have the M50 streamer and it took hours to set up. And although it works I keep getting error messages that make no sense.

I’ve had so many issue getting it to find the node icon, I gave up!
I use Tidal directly and that always work, but the BluOs app NEVER, had the node icon for 4 months, I found it once … :(

Needs to be scriptable
Would be a lot better if we could use Apple Shortcuts. Would also be nice if you could attach icons to radio stations not provided by TuneIn which in itself is of very little use, due to legal action, in the UK. Home Screen layout is not very attractive.
Not working from iphone
Please update the app to fix the iPhone ability to connect. I am having difficulty beginning on April 19
problem on every update
I just updated the app on 4/9/26. Much like every update in the last 2 years, I have to reconnect my music service yet again. Why do the updates wipe out your settings, etc. This time, it won’t even let me add the music service yet Just a spinning wheel reminiscent of the PC blue screen of death from the 90s.

Not being able to add multiple albums AT ONCE to a playlist is extremely irritating.

Please please fix your app
Great when it works, but it so often can’t find the players. So frustrating. They just disappear then you have to go through a whole rigmarole of turning off and on again, etc etc.
Constant issues
For an expensive speaker this app has constant issues. It will work fine for a few months and then it won’t work at all. I expect for this price of tech that I should never have any issues. Just when I think the issues have been permanently resolved they start all over again.
