Half baked

The lessons wouldn’t be bad if the app were fixed.

I have to type in my user ID every time I use the app, and the passwords app can only auto fill the password.

The app has odd glitches sometimes too.

It had an option read narrator the text, but it’s greyed out so we can’t use it, if you don’t have the option don’t show it.

I don’t even know how long I have left, there isn’t a place telling me how many lessons I have left.

Please at least update the login stuff, and tell me how many lessons are left.
(This was expensive.)

Got my card in the mail, but NY State keeps saying there is an issue with the cert number, so I can’t apply for my adventure license.
Waiting on customer service to help me with this.

Those are all valid concerns! We appreciate you taking the time to respond. The login issue, unfortunately, doesn't have an easy solve because the login/registration is stored in a different database then the app itself. For security reasons (imposed by states) we cannot store your credentials in the app. You can see how many lessons are left and your current progress in the "Map View." Happy boating 🚤

It took me 3hr and 3mim to do it was simply it kinda looks childish but It was okay I like it And I did get my certification

Repeated logins and poor sign up

Very annoying that my state requires you to go through this program to get a license. It felt very scammy just trying to set up in the first place, given that I made the purchase, but a repeatedly asked me to make another purchase of what I would assume is the exact same course again… But once you’re actually in, not only do, I have to learn about some boating, rules or ideas that are completely irrelevant to me in a very landlocked state, but every time the app closes out I have to login with my credentials… Why can I not just stay logged in? Bad product. Would not recommend - just do the textbook version.

Because your boating safety certificate is good in EVERY STATE we our required by NASBLA to teach every possible situation you many encounter in ANY state. This is a good thing! And, related, we our required by states to disable persistent login for security purposes. So while we hear your frustration, we are required to follow the law. Happy boating!

Great app!

This is a great way to learn if you aren’t a complete idiot and remember your login info from the website, lol I see lots of people giving bad reviews because of their own stupidity… this is a great app, just don’t be dumb and write down your info from the web page.

I never ever reviewed an app before but i just had to. This made me actually want to learn it was like a game it was just great i actually learned nd passed my test at the end thanks!
