I use too love this game and never gave a review but you have ruined the dang game with popup ads. I get you need advertisers but just like reg tv ads are horrible and they rarely find their intended audience. Now ai don’t want to play the one game that relaxed me! Thanks for ruining the game!
If the round doesn’t register and you have to play it again, they should give you the power ups you
Used power ups in one of my games and after the round it didn’t register. Had to play the round again but it didn’t give me the power ups back that I had used.
Laggy interface
Screen freezes everytime I try to play
Please fix the pop up issue.
I used to love this game. Now it takes forever to load. If I wanted to upgrade to Premium I would have done so by now. If I change my mind, it’s not hard to find the box to upgrade. Instead, when I open the game I have to wait for it to load - twice - then the other ad pops up. Am I the only having this issue?

Ads within game rounds
I actually still enjoy the game, but inserting ads into the actual game play (interrupting your round and throwing you off, causing you to possibly forget which words you’ve already played) is an automatic fail. Would give zero stars if possible. And the new “starting games automatically” thing even though I turned off that setting is another obnoxious feature. Sometimes I may accidentally swipe slightly to the side after a game round, and it starts a game with someone new. I didn’t ask for this! Get rid of the ads within game play and maybe you’ll get a better review, we’ll see.

Ok. It seems that they have heard the bad reviews because I haven’t had any pop up adds while playing for the last few days. I happily amend my rating. And I was finally able to get rid of my words with friends acct. Thank you. I really love this game.
Frequently glitches
Ads cover the pause button, if an ad or system notification comes up mid-game it freezes the screen and cannot be resumed. Frequently freezes on empty gameplay screen when a level ends. I’ve just encountered many instances of the screen or buttons becoming unresponsive - as well as repeating letter tile/square arrangements etc.
I enjoy the game when it works but I’m wishing they’d address these issues.

It used to be fun
I’ve been playing for 10 years & I enjoy it but for the last few months it’s been lagging, taking a long time to start a game. Very frustrating, makes me not want to play anymore, I’m very close to deleting it
Ads galore
The game itself is fine, completely ruined by ad after ad after ad. Every time you do anything, you get an ad. Makes it a terrible experience. Will be uninstalling
Won’t Load on older devices
Awesome game but if you play it on an iPad that’s just a few years old it takes forever to load. Pretty bad…until it eventually loads then it’s fun
Starting Random Games each time I open it.
It’s recently been starting games against random opponents without my doing so. So many games in my queue now when I open it up and I have to resign because otherwise I’ll be using up all my free tokens after the 3 games I normally play at a time. Been playing for 10+ years without it ever having done this. Don’t know if this is a deliberate tactic designed to force players to purchase tokens or a glitch.
Hoping it’s a glitch that they can fix. I’ve enjoyed playing it for many years without this new “bug”.

Glitch
This app glitches so bad! I have multiple rewards I’ve been unable to collect as it always says there is an error. Many of my game rounds have not been counted and I’ve lost my tokens for playing a game that never registered. Gross!! Fix it!
Really fun
Super fun game. Been playing it for years. Just like the real boggle game. The more you play, the faster you get.
Bots
Love this game but despite making all settings as private as possible have bots requesting games every day. I just want to play my friends!
Poor support.
I have received a zero score several times when I played against an opponent.
It just happened again. I got a message that said “Repaired client issue. Just restart the game.”
Fine. You have to repair the game.
But that shouldn’t delete my score entirely for that round. Worse yet, it showed that I could replay the round. That’s okay.
But, no, it ended the game and game me a zero instead of the winning score I’d just earned.
I rarely write bad reviews, but this keeps happening.

Smaller fonts
I really like the game it is one of my favorites. I’ve noticed that in the current version the font used in displays has gotten smaller. The choice of colors whit letters on orange background is already difficult to read but with the smaller fonts it is very difficult to decipher.
Ads and over fluffed
Just play the game simply. Power ups, fluff and random nonsense all over. Ads are ridiculous.
It’s pay to play
Tons of ads and they still want you to buy “tokens” for money. Dream on. I would buy the game but I am not going to pay per use.
Too many ads. Can’t see results after play
I have been playing for a few years and love the game but an ad after every play and it pops up even before I can see the score of my opponent.
