Such a shame they have changed this app . Worked perfectly well before and I can’t even connect to the device with the new app . Please change it back ! Jaycee
Update is terrible!
How did this update get approved? It’s absolutely terrible. Laggy, doesn’t connect without the need to restart the app every time you close it. Can’t scroll through speeds. Can’t believe how bad it is.
P400 issue
I have P400 which does not have bluetooth. Thus, new app does not detect that nor i can add it manually. The good thing that H300 can be detected which is much more important. But removing functionality from a new app version is not the greatest move
Redesign
Why? It was perfectly functional before and looked nice in blue, now we have a huge white bright display hurting the eyes.. I like the timer ‘on’ feature, not sure if that was there before, I’ve always just used the ‘off’ timer personally. But the interface isn’t good. Needs a darker theme or just revert to the previous theme.

Redesign is nice but some issues
The new design is sleek and minimal for my F235. It’s a shame however that the swipe gestures don’t work as well as before. The hit area is too small and without momentum or the ability to do several quick swipes in succession it is far harder to change the power beyond a few points up or down.
No way to set the timer each day!
I use the H400, and the app’s screenshot misleadingly shows the option to set timers for each day, but in reality, you can only set a single timer. I specifically wanted the purifier to run only during the night, but the app’s limitation made that impossible. This was extremely disappointing, as I was planning to purchase more Boneco products. Unfortunately, this flaw forced me to switch to another purifier. It’s such a shame that a great product is ruined by a trash app!

Time for HomeKit support or open API
I have an H300 unit, which I can control through the app. Setup is easy enough, but then only one person can control the unit and only from one device. (I have opinions on the device too, but this is not the place.)
It would be time for Boneco to add HomeKit support to the device itself, or at least to open up a basic API to allow others to make the device a bit smarter via third-party tools.

Useless memory consumption. Does NOTHING
Unless you have ONE and only ONE of their models, the app is useless as it does NOT connect to any other unit. The only thing the app does is remind you to clean the appliance. You can’t even turn off the “clean” symbol on the appliances, just on the app. I can use my calendar to remind me to clean this once a month without wasting phone memory by installing this app

Not as expected
The photos show that I should be able to at minimum power on and off my device. It only allows me to set my location and change the name. I have the U350 which is an awesome product but the app is very underwhelming compared to the product.
No Metrics for H300
App is well made and easy to navigate enough however the real-time measurement of humidity and temperature has remained static at a baseline since connecting to the machine.

App is reliable and reasonably fast.

Pretty good app
Please increase the text size of the current humidity and temp both indoors and outside. Even with my reading glasses on I still can read that information. There is lots of room in the app for bigger text.
Missing key features
It’s kind of crazy that there’s both no widgets and no shortcuts functionality. This would allow them to market Siri integration. Many missed opportunities that recommendation to others.
Please add Shortcuts capability
The app works, is nicely laid out but the real benefit would come with Shortcuts functionality so that I can control my F235 with Siri. Ideally via my HomePod.
Timer controls
The app works well with the H400. My only gripe is with the timer controls. You can set on/off timers but they don’t persist. As soon as it’s turned on/off it forgets the setting, so in effect your timer works once. I would much prefer a persistent on/off timer.
Decent but could be so much better
It’s a decent app with a few useful functions. A few that are missing:
- actual device blinks red when out of water. Why not send notification to the phone that the tank is empty
- allow to control the speed of the fan. I set it in baby’s room on Sleeping mode but fan is too low. I’d like to keep quiet mode but have control to increase the fan speed just a tiny bit so humidification works faster.

HomeKit support would make it better
I have an H300 unit, which I can easily control through the app. Setup is a breeze, etc.
However, what would really be great would be to add HomeKit support to the device itself, or at least to open up a basic API to allow others to make the device a bit smarter.
I also recommend updating the app with Apple’s privacy labels. It would show that the company cares.

App is not helpful.
The picture implies a live display of the state of the device. Doesn’t seem to use bluetooth to connect to anything.
Can not save the timet
The really useful function in this app is the remainder for cleaning. Timer is useless, when the unite is on you can set off time, when it us off, you can only set on timer. You can not save the timer setting.
Nice enhancement for great products
Easy to use app with a very nice design. Helps to keep your unit clean and ready for use. Swiss quality throughout!
