The summer of 2026 is shaping up to be particularly intense for construction works on the Île-de-France network (disruptions on RER lines, metros, Transiliens, trams, and closed stations). To prevent all passengers from shifting to the same alternative routes, the Bonjour RATP app is providing solutions. From now on, when the app anticipates heavy crowding on a standard alternative route, it automatically suggests a Recommended Itinerary. The advantages of this new feature: - Avoiding overcrowded areas to travel in more comfortable conditions; - Controlled travel times, without excessive detours; - Priority given to the rail network (metro, RER, tramway) and automated lines, for greater reliability and capacity. A great habit to plan ahead: you can plan your routes on the date of your choice, up to 30 days in advance. The app incorporates the full works schedule to show you the route that is actually feasible on the day of your departure.
