Warning: Users Update Catalogue

This is a good tool to catalogue and organize your books. A few criticisms. The app relies on the users to update the catalogue. That means if someone is lazy putting in a book, you have to update it on your end when you scan in the same book for yourself. Considering the fact that all books have ISBNs I would think scanning a book would garner complete information from the internet.

Speaking of ISBNs, why are we not able to look up a book via their ISBN? I own special edition books that don’t have a scannable ISBN on the back. It would be nice to be able to type in the ISBN in the search bar and get the book. Of course nothing will come up if no one has ever entered it but I can dream.

Also, if you read indie authors as often as I do, be prepared to enter in all of the details yourself when you scan them.
