I like it, it is D&D at its most simple form but it does need city and races put a little more D&D in there and this will take off for sure.
Still playing this after 12 years!
This game is hands down the best I have ever played, even though the developers seem to have lost interest. The gameplay and toon (character) development still keeps my interest after 12 years, and the loyal players who are still sticking around are the best crowd I have met in any game. We are still waiting for an update, promised years ago, but in the meantime, just keep playing!

I’ve always loved this game and come back to it from time to time. It sure could use an update though. Even a small one.
Lame confusing format
Downloaded this game while playing jeopardy game. It looked fun. After playing for 10 minutes realized it’s one of these games where you have mine resources to develop. Why can’t this just be a puzzle game? Deleted the game right after. So sick of these games that follow the same format to maximize profit. Way to ruin a interesting puzzle game.

Update when?
This game used to be amazing and fun, but has had a dying player base in the last 3 years, and for those last three years there was a promised update that would have added more to the game, that still hasn’t come out yet. If you are new to the game don’t bother wasting time or effort on it as it’s a dead game, developers clearly aren’t working on it anymore either

Used to be Great
This game used to be so much fun, there were lots of players and the community was great. I started playing back in 2012 when I was going through a rough time in life and it helped get me through it.
But now the developer has abandoned it and there are hardly any players online. It feels like a ghost town at times.
If the developer ever comes back and starts updating the game and hopefully brings in new players, I’ll update my review.

Lack of content updates make this 5 star RPG a disappointment
I started playing this RPG years ago and have, until recently, been a loyal customer and fan. Developers seem to have forgotten about this game despite announcements that a beta test for newer versions and updates are upcoming. Last announcement I noticed was over 4 months ago with a tentative ETA of one week for beta testing.
The game is filled with clever dialogue, fun character creation and development and enough content to keep a new player busy for quite some time. The combat is interesting and unique with many different abilities and methods of play due each class.
If and when daddy Venan decides to continue development I would be ecstatic to rate it the 5 stars it deserves but until then a 2 is all the stars I have.

Hey folks, If you like turn based RPGs and you’ve never tried this game, you owe it to yourself to give BoH a try. I’ve played this one before and I keep coming back because it’s one of the best. The game has moderators who refuse to help bullied players energy takes hours to recover and takes 5 minutes to finish the PVP matches you with people 10 levels higher so you always lose and you have to pay for shields or you rarely get any at all read the other one star two star reviews for more details.

Needs work as a game
There is a pointless pvp system in the game that takes forever to queue for a match and then puts you against someone 10 levels higher or 3 leagues higher than you. The grind hits right away as things get way too expensive. Don’t waste your time.
Excellent community, fun game!
I consistently come back to BoH despite a hiatus or five. The holiday events bring some spice to Glenfort, and you DO NOT have to pay to win. In fact, pouring money into this game cannot get you many shortcuts. You actually have to earn your stuff, which keeps the game fun and competitive for all! Be warned, once you make an account, you’ll have a handful of toons before you know it!

Fair, not pay to win, and very social rpg. Play a little or a lot, you should like it.
Freezes constantly
Freezes up constantly on iPhone 7 plus with latest iOS updates. Sometimes the "complete" button never appears after I finish quests and I can't progress. Game is basically broken for me.

MUST READ NEW PLAYERS
This game is pretty fun for a while. Entertaining combat system, colorful artwork, and some challenging bosses to keep you occupied. The story has some continuity errors and is a little cliché with the "sudden apperance of dark forces" but other than that it has a nice RPG feel, which is hard to find in a mobile game. Even if you're not interested in story, raids make the game fun. All of this lasts for say, 3 months of gameplay? Until you get to level 25-30. Then they're just begging for your money. The game becomes too difficult and you need to pay for better gear unless you want to do ridiculous amounts of farming. Overall its a 5/5 game until it gets to this point. To a person new to BoH, I would say download it and have fun with it. But know when the game is just asking for money and stop there.

I think that this game is very fun and unique compared to other card-based rpgs. It's fun strategizing what you're going to do next, and the graphics are fantastic!
