Unreliable
The first time using Bookaway and they cancelled my booking 10minutes before my departure. I then had to make last minute alternative arrangements at a much higher cost. Very very disappointing
DO NOT USE!
PAID for 2 shuttle tickets. Shuttle driver said it’s common for BookAway to sell tickets and not reserve with the shuttle service. Shuttle was booked. We, and another couple, were left to fend for ourselves. THEY STILL HAVEN’T EVEN REFUNDED ME!
Do not purchase tickets using this app
Booked a ferry ticket in Philippines - got to the ferry port and discovered paid more than DOUBLE the actual ferry price. Will never be using this app again and will be discouraging others from doing so. Disgusting how you can exploit customers in this way

Error in my Booking ID upon presenting it to the port staff and wasn’t able to use it
I previously escalated an issue through your email support, but up to now, no action has been taken and the matter remains unresolved. Each time, I receive the same response: “We are actively following up on your case and will update you as soon as we have news.”
It has already been one month since I first reported this issue, and it is extremely frustrating to continue waiting without any clear resolution—especially as my card continues to incur interest charges during this time.
Could you please provide a contact number where I can speak with someone directly? Waiting several days for each email response is not an efficient way to resolve this matter. I would appreciate your immediate attention and a more concrete update on the status of my case.

Do not book with Bookaway!
We booked a 13:00 bus and the cost was in US$. We were issued tickets on the 1 am bus and charged in Euros and the agent assigned to our ticket is ghosting us after a couple of messages that include a screenshot of the tickets we chose.

Have used this app now a few times to book trips via boat and land. Have been very impressed with the service received. Everything has been as planned and that makes for happy travellers.

First of all the app doesn’t even work so you can’t sign up. Then you go on their website and the chatbot can’t comprehend simple responses and once an agent responds they send a message and immediately close the chat without allowing you to respond.
They sell tickets, but don't offer refunds if you cancel.
Fraudsters and scammers! I booked tickets, paid, and almost immediately (literally 10 minutes later) I needed to cancel. They flatly refused a refund, even though the service wasn't fully rendered. They want to sell, but they don't want to return the tickets if they cancel so quickly! The customer has no rights. Horrible vacation experience! Don't use this service, you'll regret it many times over!!!

My Driver No Show
There is no driver show up at Tbilisi International Airport, I supposedly travel to yerevan armenia using this bookaway services but have to take airport taxi to go there since no driver waiting us at arrival hall as per instruction in booking confirmation. There is no one pick up the call

ABSOLUTE RIP OFF
I will never be using the Bookaway app again, and I strongly suggest you don’t either. This app consistently charges double—and sometimes even triple—the local rate for transportation. You’re much better off waiting until you’re actually at the location to book anything. Local options are almost always cheaper, easier, and more flexible.
To make matters worse, the app doesn’t work offline. If you’ve already booked something through it, make sure you screenshot everything—confirmation, tickets, schedules—because once you’re out of service or on the road, you won’t be able to access your bookings.
In short: overpriced, unreliable, and ultimately not worth it.

Awful service. Don’t capable to solve any issues with clients. First thing they do - go into the conflict instead normal explanation
It complicates your life
I booked a simple ferry ride and wanted to change the time of the ferry. Their customer service denied the request claiming the operator doesn’t allow it. However, had I booked the same ferry ticket through the operator and not through this service, I would not have had this issue as they’ll just allow you to switch ferries.

Zakup u tego pośrednika okazał się chybiony. Straciłem prawie 1000 zł bo bilet nie został uznany ponieważ pracownik nie był w stanie oczytać kodu QR.
