Love the app
I love this app for my book club! I appreciate that even in the free version I’m able to see discussion questions to help facilitate and lead discussion. It’s fun to be able to read the book. See when book club is going to meet. And to add books that we want to read.
Best App on earth
This app facilities real community and great times like no other I’ve seen. Perfect app for attending and managing public Bookclubs. Great for making friends
Terrible App for Organizing
I just moved my book club group from Meetup, and as an organizer, I have found every part of it frustrating.
1) Barely any good features with the Premium version. There’s not even an “Add to Calendar” feature, which is standard on most event apps. The lack of features at that pay level makes organizing a group unnecessarily difficult.
2) “Pro” bating at every turn. I’d go to do something and it would let me do the steps and then when I tried to Submit, it’d tell me I had to upgrade.
3) Even the emails are click-bait. Got an email to upgrade to Pro at half price only to find that I had to give them money upfront to upgrade at a prorated rate and then I’d get half priced when I RENEWED in a year.
I’m glad I only shelled out $60 for Premium instead of getting Pro. Though, I wish I hadn’t done that much.
I haven’t even had my first event and I’ve already cancelled the auto-renewal.
What a disappointment. I had over 500 people in my Meetup group and this is a sad replacement for a thriving group.

The best way to connect with friends
Great
Easy to use. Cross content from meetings to polls. Suggest talking points for certain books. Easy to invite others to join.
Great app
This app has worked great for my book club. Even the free version has enough perks to well run a club, but the cheapest paid version does so much more to effectively manage my little group. It’s very useful for polls and meetings.
Great but
This app is a great platform for book enthusiasts that want to meet people that love reading. I can say I made a lot of friends and groups and all thanks to this app that made it happen. My only comment as a book club owner is that the fees are too expensive, I always consider signing up for premium but 90 dollars a year seems like a lot to pay at once, and the monthly fee is highway robbery. Otherwise love the app, the announcements are a hussle though.

What the heck happened?!
Been using this app since the beginning of 2026 and was able to message our group and individuals but now we can’t even do that anymore?? This app was already glitchy, this makes it even worse and we won’t even be able to use the app for its intended purpose anymore. What a scam.
Great organization
The app is absolutely exceptional. I’ve written for a suggestion on attendance reporting which would help me as the organizer keep track of who is participating and who is not.

Customer service
I ordered a book online, tried to cancel the next day and could not get ahold of anyone. I emailed the help line twice which said they’d get back with me in 4-7 business days. I never heard a word. No way to get in touch with anyone.

My only feedback is for RSVP’s, it would be EXTREMELY helpful to list all book club members in addition to “Yes” “No” and “Maybe” to also display “No RSVP”. In other words display all member of the club, not just those who have RSVP’d. I would still display them sorted as follows:

I just love being part of a book club it’s super fun and you meet people from all over

Poor follow through
Great app
Overall this app has been super helpful for organizing our bookclub. I also use it to track all my reading. I do wish I could see what my bookclub friends were reading and what they rated something though i think in general they use other apps for that. I just like things all in one place.
