Works worse than it did in 2017
I’ve unfortunately had to use this app for work since 2017. Back in 2017 it worked about 30% of the time. Now, 2024, with full service AND WiFi this app works AT BEST 15% of the time!

always times out. Huge waste of time very inefficient very slow.
Consistently needs bug fixes
Bad review b/c it hardly ever works and no matter if you are in WiFi or not the app constantly buffers and may even log you out as you try to key in information. It takes a very long time to load as well.
Because functionality it is a good app to use for what it says it’s for only if it works correctly.

Would recommend app.
App worked well - brand ambassador and had no issues. Would recommend.
The Worst Tool
system updates and enhancements usually cause more problems than fixes . Lost out of tons of opportunities with my part time employer because of my inability to access the app ( due to booked out issue not user error )

Stay away
This app was glitchy to begin with. It constantly crashes and then in April 2022, it just went down. It’s now October 2022, the events that load aren’t even ones I’m staffed on, and I can only ever see my events on the app after the events have occurred. The people at BookedOut don’t seem bothered by the fact the app doesn’t work. They just tell us to “update” the app which I have done multiple times without it actually fixing anything. Not sure why we still use this, it accomplishes nothing.

So many problems
I have to email booked out at least once a month for issues. It never works correctly. There are so many bugs and they always seem to be working on them, but they are NEVER fixed.
Why even bother?
I have NEVER had a successful event submission with this app and I’ve used it for several events I get booked through the company I work for as an independent contractor. It’s glitchy. I submit everything and have to screenshot every answer and then send those to my contact because I know I’m going to get an email 2 weeks after said event that states I “missed” questions or submissions. What is the point of even continuing to have this app active? It’s god awful. I wish so badly that we could use something else and that I could have direct contact with BookedOut’s customer support so I could screenshot them all the stuff the app says I clearly submitted to prove to them the email is wrong.

This app never works
The app doesn’t load available events or events that you are scheduled for. Tech support is nonexistent. I cannot retrieve important information about the upcoming shifts I am scheduled for. Fix the app!!!

Annoying
This app always has issues loading. So many times I’ve not been able to see my schedule with important information. Also separates 1099 and W2 jobs. I have a job from like 10 years ago it doesn’t give the option to delete it off my profile and I have to click past it to view my current jobs. They don’t have quick tech support either.

Always something wrong
This app never seems to function fully and always has issues.
PLEASE FIX THIS APP
Please issue an update for this app. I already have an account and it keeps trying to get me to create a new one. Signing in isn’t an option. It won’t even let me reset my password. It just takes me to a create profile screen. I have jobs listed that I need to have access to.

Constantly deleting my profile and then stuck on create a profile when I’ve already created one.
Problems
Very buggy, slow, constantly having issues with not being able to access campaigns, or view completed events (which affects payroll). User interface is friendly enough. Needs a lot of work.

After the first few jobs I booked , the icons stayed on “searching” and just froze.
I contacted BookedOut several times with no response.
It should be noted that I did the basics myself to remedy this ( restart phone , delete and reinstall app).
No customer service. No help.
I wish my company would not use this app.

Can’t remove campaigns
With this new update I am unable to remove campaigns and it’s annoying me. I click remove and then get to the next window where ask why and I am unable to submit the reason and be removed. Very annoying because I have about 5 campaigns I want to remove and I can’t! Other than that, everything functions the same for me.
