slightly buggy but pretty good
yes, this is a pretty obvious fork of bookplayer. The playback circle doesn't show progress properly. But you can use standalone apple watch app without the app nagging for tips or a garbage subscription model.

Clean interface with chapter time remaining option I like. Doesn’t pester for money. Works and is intuitive.

Copy of BookPlayer?
Seems like a stripped down copy of BookPlayer. Even the menus are exactly the same. What gives? Is a nice lightweight version but funny it seems like an exact copy for features it retains.
Update: Aparently the claim to fame is the ability play books directly on Apple Watch. Otherwise it is the BookPlayer clone. Have to see how it works on watch.
