Lysn: Audiobook Player

Voice Boost now works everywhere Voice Boost previously had no effect on most books, including everything streamed from a server — the control was there, but the sound never changed. It now works during normal playback, on downloaded and streamed books alike, lifting speech out of a noisy or quietly mastered recording. Speed and Voice Boost are remembered per book Each book keeps its own playback speed and Voice Boost level. Books you have never adjusted follow the defaults in Settings, so changing a default now affects them as it should instead of only applying to newly added books. Streamed books keep their own settings too, rather than borrowing whatever you last set on a downloaded one. Fixes • The progress bar can be dragged on books that have no chapters. Dragging it did nothing before — it snapped straight back. • Dragging the progress bar to the very end no longer restarts the book from the beginning. • The position no longer freezes after you drag backwards. • The percentage next to the progress bar now matches the bar itself. • Changing speed while paused no longer starts playback. • Speed changes now take effect immediately on books played through the backup audio engine. • Playback speed is pitch-corrected for speech, so voices stay natural when sped up. • Starting playback from Apple Watch no longer resets the book's speed to 1x. • Hardcover sign-in accepts your API token however you paste it, including straight from Hardcover's own page. Sign-in problems now say what is actually wrong — a bad token, a token without the right access, or too many requests — instead of a single unhelpful message. • Hardcover book search reports connection and sign-in problems instead of quietly showing no results. • Trimming a clip near the very end of a book no longer fails.
