Lysn: Audiobook Player

iPad support Lysn is now a proper iPad app. A sidebar replaces the tab bar, listing your library, downloads and stats, every Audiobookshelf and Plex server with its books, series, authors and collections, plus Hardcover and Settings. The mini player sits at the bottom of the sidebar so it stays put while you browse. Now Playing gets a two-column layout in landscape, with the chapter list beside the controls instead of covering the artwork. Grids use smaller cover art to fit far more on screen, and Settings, Downloads and Listening Stats open as full screens rather than sheets. Keyboard, trackpad and drag and drop With a hardware keyboard: Space to play or pause, arrow keys to skip, Cmd+[ and Cmd+] for previous and next chapter, Cmd+F to search, Cmd+, for settings, Cmd+L to show or hide the sidebar, and Cmd+1 to Cmd+9 to jump between sidebar sections. Covers and rows now respond to a trackpad pointer, and you can drag audiobooks straight from Files into your library. Marking books as finished Marking a book as finished now reliably updates Audiobookshelf, Plex and Hardcover. It previously missed Hardcover entirely, and could silently do nothing at all for some books. Reaching the end of a book now marks it finished on your server, and ending a listening session no longer discards the last few seconds of progress — which could leave a book stuck just short of complete. Marking a book as unfinished now syncs too, and keeps your position instead of resetting it to the start. Progress accuracy Progress percentages are now worked out from your actual position in the book, so they always agree with the time shown beside them. Look and feel A cleaned-up app icon with proper dark and tinted variants for iOS 18 and later, and a real launch screen in place of a blank one. The bottom bar is a consistent height across every tab and tucks away as you scroll. Large library counts are easier to read.
