I don’t usually write reviews but after using book habit for a few years, one day it was acting glitchy and I emailed support. They got back to me right away. I was super impressed. The problem was with my phone and not the app and it’s working perfectly again. I really like BookHabit. Couldn’t be happier.

I’ve had this app for years, since my iPod Touch days. I’ve most of my library on it and keep track of what I’m reading and where and later on how much I’ve read and when. I’ve added magazines to the app when I had multiple on the go at once. I use it for reference of what I’ve read of an author, and which ones I own. It’s available offline so no need for internet when in the depths of a library or bookshop.

Needs Integration
This is a decent app, especially the visualizations. However, it cannot compete with Goodreads for social sharing. If they utilized the Goodreads API to sync shelves and progress, I would use this app happily and it would easily be 5 stars.
Too many books too little time
This app is perfect for keeping track of your books. I love the list feature, I no longer have to send myself memos of books I want to read!

Great app! It helps me take and keep track of my notes. I love that they're easily accessible on the road when looking up quotes or info for a presentation and for my book club.
Helps me keep on pace for what I'm reading, and not forget about books I had to put down. Gives me a beautiful view of my library and what I'm reading.
I especially like that it asks me to rate the book as i read it instead of at the end - it's giving me a more honest/true rating of the book.
Haven't yet used it the built in bibliography/citation exporter. But nice feauture - would have been nice to have that back in grad school.

Great app for book lovers!
Highly recommended. I've used this app for years and I'm thrilled that it's been updated for iOS 10-thanks, HyperJeff! Social apps for books are all fine & dandy-I use them-but BookHabit is the best if you just want to track your own personal reading, keep a personal book journal and read more! You can customize your lists and keep running notes as you read (you can share your notes if you wish). The graphs are the best!

Gorgeous app!
I hope to become a power user of this terrific app, which also means I'd better make time to read!!! A recent update caused difficulty opening the app, but I received full and speedy email replies to the status and ETA of a fix, which worked like a charm. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a place to log their library and track their reading. Thanks Jeff!

Hmmm... was good for a little while
I was an enthusiastic user of this app for three weeks. The design is attractive and effective. But then when I finished my first book and tried to update the book entry, a bug appeared, the app stopped displaying any chart data, and ever since it has abruptly crashed every time I try to use it. I would delete the app and re-install but I already have a lot of books (and cover photos) loaded into the app and I don't want to lose my data. An e-mailed bug report to the author from three days ago hasn't been answered. I'm still hoping (it is the time of year for vacations, after all)--but the app itself hasn't been updated in almost a year, so I can't exactly say my hopes are high.
If the author demonstrates more interest in working on this app (and fixing its bugs), I may return to it. For now, I'm defecting to Goodreads, which seems more reliable, better supported, and has a corresponding website. Reliability of data is paramount. I really don't want to record reading data in an app like this for six months or more and have it all go *poof*. In that respect, I suppose I'm lucky BookHabit flaked out on me as early as it did.

I've not found any other apps that keep track of my books and where I am in reading them as this app does. It's wonderful. I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT.
I'd like to be able to import books from a spreadsheet (cvs)...that would save me time having to type each one in individually.

Amazing for voracious readers
The complete book tracker app, and I've tried a few. Build a library, track your progress, notice trends in your own reading, keep reviews and add notes. Very powerful.
Motivational
awesome to track how far along you are. Forget bookmarks. Very encouraging to get to the end and start on the next. Would be cool to share new and finished books on Facebook.
Wow! Is all I can say!
I am always reading multiple books and I can finally stay organized - make notes, quickly add books I want to read later- I just love it! This is a must have app!!! Kindle users - perfect companion! Oh, and you can email yourself notes...the capabilities are too many to list!
