About

1 sitting. That is all Onechapter needs before it can guess the day you will close the book on your nightstand. Log a few more and the guess gets sharper. Here is how it goes. In the Library tab, add a book with its title, author, total pages and a cover photo from your library. After you read, open the Reading tab and tap Log sitting: type the page you reached and, if you like, the minutes you spent. Onechapter works out your pace and puts an estimated finish date on the book card, anywhere from tomorrow to a few weeks out. Reading on consecutive days builds a streak, a small bribe that works better than it should. Set a yearly reading goal and the Stats tab keeps score without flattery: books finished this year, whether you are ahead of pace or behind it, pages per day as bars with a dashed line for your daily page target, and books finished by month. Your longest streak lives there too, for bragging rights with nobody in particular. Found a line worth keeping? Save it to that book's favourite quotes with its page number. When the last page is done, mark the book finished and it moves to the done shelf, quotes and all. Books, sittings and quotes are stored on this device only. No account, no uploads, and nobody peeking at your reading list.
