Hey there, fellow collector! This update is all about making Trace look the way you want it to. You can now decide exactly what shows up on every capture and collection card, right down to a pure image wall with no text at all. Articles in Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu finally read right to left. And under the hood, big libraries scroll faster than they ever have. What's new and improved: • Capture card options: show or hide the title, description, source name, favicon, and the "..." button on any capture • Collection card options too: description, captures count, modification date, row size, and number of columns • Long-press any capture or collection to open its full menu, so hiding the "..." button costs you nothing • A live preview at the top of Appearance that updates instantly as you tap, so you always see the card you're building • A new 3-column grid on iPhone for a dense, image-only view of your library • Edge-to-edge images that fill the whole card, with no padding • Right-to-left reading: Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu articles now lay out correctly in the reader and in exported PDFs • A redesigned theme picker with mini device mockups, including a new System Black theme • A full accent color palette, with the colors you star kept at the top • Type badges on every capture: video, thread, gallery, PDF, photo, screenshot, or article at a glance • A Reset to Default option on every Appearance screen • A cleaner pin marker on pinned collections: it now sits on the description line in your accent color instead of floating in the corner • Captures with no thumbnail now get a proper card instead of a title clipped at the edge • Per-site link settings now cover a whole domain at once, so every publication on the same host shares one setting • A polished app icon, with a proper dark variant for dark mode • Much faster scrolling and paging in large libraries, with lighter cached thumbnails • Fixed captures that stopped loading when you reached the bottom before the library finished loading • Search results now keep loading as you scroll instead of stopping at the first screen • Video previews stand down in Low Power Mode and with Reduce Motion turned on • Loading placeholders that match your chosen layout, plus richer collection covers • Various bug fixes and stability improvements throughout the app Enjoying Trace?
