Amazing amazing app!!

Please support this and update this. Finding it incredibly useful

Don’t give this guy money

Average app with a broken bookmark system that restarts your books and loses your place constantly. No response from the dev, even as a paid customer.

Use bound instead. It actually works. Can’t believe I wasted so long on this trash.

Outdated trash

Stay away, no widgets an you have to upload your files to get them to your device. Even if the file is already on your phone.

Unable to purchase

Great app but the worst support. I have sent many emails notifying that I’m not to purchase the paid version. Not a single response.

Great Audiobook Player

I’ve been using this app for several years now to listen to audiobooks and I highly recommend it. Over the years I have built a large library of audiobooks that I have stored in my personal cloud storage. This player allows me to load those books (most in MP3 format) to my phone and play them offline. I’ve never had an issue with this app and the ability to listen to audiobooks without interruption is excellent (i.e., no cell, no WiFi, is no problem!). There are plenty of other ways this app allows you to load books so this should meet many people’s needs. Forget Libby or any other audiobook app…this is the one you’ll want! Again, I highly recommend this app!

Constantly loses place in book

This mostly does what it says it does: play audio books. But it constantly loses my place in the book. Rewinding the audio by 30 seconds should not result in the book starting over from the beginning. Multiple reviews mention this going back YEARS, how is this still an issue for people‽

Needs update

Looks like developer abondaned this app.
Ios Books has upgraded to be efficient.

Aged poorly

I used this app exclusively for several years, I have issues every single time losing my place and it’s gotten worse over time. Maybe it’s abandoned? Digging in to find last played bookmark is frustrating. Who knows, just going to pick another app.

Best audio book app

I have been using this app for a minimum of 7 or 8 year maybe ? When they used to charge 2.99 for the full feature 😄 And I go back and forth between it and some other app, that doesn’t have the same features I need: bookmarking, sleep timer, and timed rewind and fast forward. That being said, there seems to be a secret inbox folder that pops up in my iTunes library where there are books that I can not access from the app, but they just take space on my phone. Other wise perfect app.

Frustrating

Keeps jumping about in the book. I keep needing to figure out where I stopped listening.
Aaaarghhhhhh…..

was good once

Seems this app is no longer supported, which is a great pity. It no longer connects to Librivox or podcasts and menus are corrupted in newer devices. I’ve been using the app for many years, but looks like it’s time to find a new one.

Unable to organise audiobooks

Used to be able to organise audiobooks via web transfer, this facility does not work anymore so have moved to a different app.

Best audiobook player

Unfortunately looks abandoned as it doesn’t accurately store last position anymore on latest versions of iOS.

Was good now buggy in new iOS

Was my favorite player but has become buggy in most recent iOS. Biggest bug is that it loses your place and starts over from beginning of certain notifications come in while playing.

Nice but has bugs

When stopping and starting, often the book will loose its place and start playing from the start. You have to go to the bookmarks and go to the previous bookmark. A bit of a pain.

Best app for audio-bibliophiles

I have been using this app since it first came out. It is featured packed and the developer is very responsive to emails. A featured review says it is clumsy but really it is not, the app has so much to offer and that has been well explained in the app intro. The price is a steal given the app has so much to offer.

Great Design but very buggy

This app has a great interface and wonderful design but unfortunately, that can't make up for trhe bugginess of the software. The app quite often skips to a random place in the book when it is stopped.

Simple and easy

And then it started to misbehave. If I receive a call while it’s playing it will sometimes glitch and have moments of silence every few seconds. The only way to fix it is to re-install the app. Which also means noting your place in the book and re-loading it. And fast forwarding to get back there.

Adjustable FF and RW controls, remembers my place even if the app is closed out, works with the bluetooth in my car. I'll be paying the $ for the unlimited version. Nicely done. Update: it even remembered my place after an iOS software update. Nice.

Stay away- use an app like Bound instead

The app has long been abandoned , not sure why it’s in the App Store anymore, it should be removed.

I used this in the past because I couldn’t find any other adequate app to import DRM free audiobooks with the crucial bookmark feature.

The app will lose your place if you go away from the app. I’m not talking about quitting it, but minimizing it. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Additionally, it doesn’t handle multi part books well at all. The app will decide its own sort order no matter what you do.

Worst of all- The developer would REFUSE to provide support if the customer left a review that’s less than 5 stars.
Who does that?

Lastly, the FAQ leads to a 404 page.
Apple needs to remove this.

Loses its place

Frustrating app that constantly loses its place in you book and restarts from the beginning. It does keep bookmarks that allow you to manually find your last spot, but constantly having to use them is a royal pain.
