Needs refining
Feels like all it’s offering is Y.A. Books even though I’m continually swiping left on them. Where are the books for grown ups?
Endless loop
I rejected around 31 books as I had read them or was not interested And accepted one - now the app is in a loop and won’t recommend anything - it’s as if in a loop - it keeps on running - I have lifetime subscription
Not that good
I swiped on a bunch of books but it kept feeding me choices from series I already swiped as bad. Didn’t help me find a book I wanted to read. It also forces you to login with your email instead of using a login / password to remain anonymous.
Edit: No. You forcing us to give you our email address is not better for privacy. It’s better for your marketing. And you do not need an account for recommendation. You can generate a unique token for that.

Response from developer
Bookovery needs an account for personalized recommendations. Sign in with Apple is more private and secure than email/password, and we’re improving how series are handled to avoid repeats. Thank you for trying out Bookovery though! :)
Poor implementation AI
Poor implementation, Disingenuous developers and requires login in on top of the safety of the uniqur ID offered by Apple. Recomandations are poor and very biased and incomplete. Any free AI does better.
Did I mention the ridiculous price as an in app purchase ?

Bookovery requires an account to deliver personalized AI-powered recommendations. The app is free with 30 daily votes, subscriptions are optional for more. If that’s not for you, too bad. Thank you for trying it out!
