About

Bookreads is a book tracker and reading journal for building a better reading habit. Organize your TBR library of print books, ebooks, and audiobooks into titles you want to read, are currently reading, have finished, or did not finish (DNF). Track format, ownership, genre, publisher, publication year, collections, tags, and series. Search by title, author, or ISBN, and use the barcode scanner to add book metadata quickly. When you read, start a timer, save your last page, and let Bookreads record session duration and reading progress. Set a finish goal for each book and see your reading speed from saved sessions. See the reading stats that keep your habit moving: total reading time, pages read, finished books, current streak, reading speed, and an estimated finish date based on your recent pace. Review an annual reading report with monthly breakdowns, share a book or annual report, create daily, weekly, or yearly goals, and enable local reminders. Export or restore your library, reading sessions, journal entries, goals, settings, and saved covers as a local Bookreads backup. For reflection, use the reading journal for notes, quotes, reviews, and ratings. Your MVP data stays on your device: no login, no sync, no ads, and no in-app purchase in this initial release.
