Fussy

Discount codes don’t come through, resetting password goes in circles and takes you back to old orders, shopify system doesn’t allow you to sign in as an account just a guest checkout even though I have an account (according to the app), etc. All a bit of a faff. Ended up not buying full basket and stuck to one item I needed. Will look elsewhere.

discount code not always available

When I purchased more for the books, it said 10% discount on the app, but when I sign in , I can’t use my book
coupon reward!
And I just lose it!
They always use tiny little signs as a code which is hard to find out!

The app is so hard to use

Can never seem to log on and the wishlist never works

Good deals

On this website I always found very good and cheap deals

won’t let me login

I have an account with books2doors already but when i try to login on the app it won’t let me and just keeps saying incorrect password or email and if I try to change my password I put in my email and it never sends me a link to change my password. FIX YOUR DAMN APP!!!

Must be fixed

The app and my account are parallel, I cannot see nor redeem my points, I cannot see my account or my wish-list, only the purchases that I have made, best case scenario I get redirected to the website where I encounter the same issues and says that I do not have wn account yet it is able to show me the orders I have made…. :/

The app doesn’t allow me to create a wish list or save any books which can be frustrating

I like the book selection it has however I wish you could toggle the children’s books off as it is full of books I don’t wish to have to scroll through

Discounts Unveiled: A books2door App Adventure

Not usually a reviewer but I found myself having a more than pleasant experience, so when prompted, I thought why not share. I recently watched the adaptation of “3 body problem” on Netflix. After finishing the series I saw an article headline and discovered it was based on a book. A very popular and successful book at that. So I proceeded to look for an online marketplace to purchase the book. Only to discover it is in fact a trilogy, how exciting.

Whilst trying to find a vendor I came across books2door, having no previous experience with this retailer I was intrigued by their fair pricing. Especially in comparison to the library murdering, small business smashing and Amazon destroying competitors, who shall remain nameless. In any event, the website was easy to use and my interest was piqued by the small pop-up window in the lower middle portion of my screen reading… “10% off when ordering on the app” or words to that effect. A tap here and a tap there in not too long I was in. Incentivised by the prospect of saving a few pennies I was eager to make the most of my time here.

I searched the trilogy, and I added it to my basket. I must say the interface is incredibly simple which made for an intuitive journey. Leaving aside the exciting unearthing of a trilogy and a copy of a novella by the same author (!), I had a basket and I was ready to check out. I did have a google prior to handing over my important information, of which I know those with dubious and maybe even criminal intentions would fill with glee at the idea I would free hand them over, to ensure I was not falling into a scam. I was sufficiently at ease. This app is the real deal.

Now we come to the clincher. The head scratcher. The moment I questioned whether I was a brick shy of a load. How on Earth do I get this 10% off ?! After countless failed attempts to unlock this offer I found myself in a labyrinth of faulty codes and dashed hopes. Each rejection felt like another step towards a dissociative episode, the dark clouds looming. But just when all seemed lost, like a beacon of hope through the darkness, I stumbled into and entered a code which delivered me a total saving of £2.80. It was as if the clouds had parted and a choir of angels sang in jubilation.

With a triumphant click of the mouse I moved towards completing my purchase. Opting for the secure embrace of PayPal was a welcomed additional comfort. And if you thought things couldn’t get any better, I was quickly reminded of the ingenuity of the human mind. Our innate sense to strive for a better world for our fellow man, woman and child. The most noteworthy of those being… the person (or persons) who designed and developed the feature that automatically fills in the one use codes from your text messages without having to navigate out of your current window. I marvel at the talent and skill our generation has the pleasure of witnessing.

And now we wait for delivery…

So dear reader, as I bid adieu to this digital odyssey, I leave you with a simple blessing: in the vast expanse of cyberspace, may your discounts be plentiful and your reviews as entertaining as they are informative. Though don’t always expect both.

Yours in digital exploration,
Z

Worst app ever!!!!!

I went to click on website and tried to click on cart, but the app was playing up, and when I clicked on wish list, I had to put in my account which I am pretty sure is correct, but the app said it was incorrect. I highly avoid this one.

Won’t let me log in!

Accepts my details on website but not app, very frustrating!!

No wishlist

Saw this company on Facebook and then went looking for the app. Seems amazing for any book lover but unfortunately I cannot use the wishlist feature which to be honest is a shame as I won’t remember all the ones I’ve seen

B

Didn’t get 10 percent off as promised.

Unable to log in

I am unable to log in it keeps saying incorrect email/password, but it’s the details I made to sign up with

Great books at great prices

Great books at great prices , but I always find making the payment and logging in to my account troublesome, I get there eventually but not as easy as buying from other websites

Discount code didn’t work

Discount code didn’t work.

Easy to use

So much better to use via app!

Did not give app 10% off

Have purchased books easily but I was going to do it online but it said I’d get 10% off if I did on the app - which I did not get even though I followed rules.

Marking favourites

It is easy to buy with the app but you need to add a like button or add to favourite button or make a list button. I wanted to buy some books but they were sold out. So I wanted to mark them to buy when they are available but there is no such thing on the app. If you can add a like button for each book it would be perfect. Thanks
