Great But

Spent a decent amount of time making a routine. It disappeared, but the title of it still shows when I search for it.

Stop changing the interface please

Y’all really gotta stop changing the interface, it’s worse every update. Also when I’m creating a program, please give me an option to turn off the AI auto generated text and photo. I’ve used this app for a couple years now and it’s one of the best, just not sure what direction y’all are going with every update. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Buggy

The app always crashes within a few seconds of starting.

Awesome

Haven’t used to many exercise apps but this one is awesome. Free version is great and easy to use. Great programs to choose from as well. Will be recommending to others

Assisted exercises seems to not be calculated correctly

There should be a way to put your weight so the assisted exercises are calculated correctly in terms of volume, it seems wrong the way it is now.

Response from developer

I hear you and I appreciate the feedback. The swap exercise feature has been changed back to free. If you would consider updating your review, we would appreciate it. Thank you. –Michael, co-founder

Great app but not worth the Pro

Great app but not worth paying for the pro version. Not as many options as the free.

Workout

🙂

Amazing app, great potential. some bug issues

When I preview my program by opening one of the days. The amount of sets jumps from the old amount to the new amount due to edit. I don’t think the edit function is fully in sync with the preview section. Otherwise super useful app!

Very good app

Very good overall.
Could improve by not needing to tap Edit when entering sets and reps.

Not Free

Was told by Google this had a free version but after signing up the app wouldn’t let me past the “free trial” with any way to choose a free version. Very scammy and people shouldn’t click to agree anything that says “no payment due at this time”.

Annoying

Why do you have to go through the WHOLE process and then pay for it? Like now it has all my info and there’s no way I’m paying for a stupid app to tell me that I’m not fit and that I should do some Russian exercise. Dumb ahh app don’t get it

New user

I have not used a training app before so I can’t compare this app to any others, but I have appreciated the features so far. It might be a little sensitive to “touch” as I accidentally swiped and removed a workout, and reordering the workouts hasn’t been smooth, but that’s more user error, and it was easy to find and replace the workout.

Good free option, loads of programs and very data oriented

Amazing app if you want to create your own program and monitor it.

Less think more workout

I’ve only gotten the chance to use the app a couple of times, but I appreciate the ease of use and the rest timer in-between sets. Gives me less to have to personally track or think about, so I can just focus on working out.

Absolutely love it best tool to train so far

Not a fan

The app has a pile of multi week workouts…. They just repeat the same workout every week.

Downward spiral

Every update makes the app worse. Now the timer is all but useless as the app resets when you change apps. There are fewer pro programs now then there was a year ago. Updated on June 21, same issues persist

Just started

Let me make up my entire plan very happy it didn’t limit the amount of exercises I could add

Visual guides

Visual guides don’t always match the actual workout titles.

Less Intuitive With Every Update

I’ve been a paying subscriber for nearly two years, largely because I meticulously track my workouts and didn’t want to lose my training history.

I won’t be renewing.

What originally attracted me to Boostcamp was its clean, intuitive design. Over time, the app has become increasingly cluttered with programming I don’t use, and features that were once easy to access have been buried behind additional taps.

A perfect example is workout history. There used to be a simple calendar view that made it easy to see every day you trained and quickly review your consistency month by month. Now that view is tucked away, making something I used regularly harder to find for no apparent benefit.

The exercise library is also more limited than it should be, with many common variations missing.

I’ve stayed this long because my workout history is valuable to me, but the user experience has steadily declined. Moving years of training data to a new platform will be a hassle, but at this point it’s worth it.

If you value simple design, intuitive navigation, and quick access to your workout history, there are much better and cheaper options out there.
