Love boots offers

I love the offers that are emailed through . Well worth the savings . Great delivery service too and chances to double your points .

Great until there’s an issue

I have been a loyal Boots customer for years, and have used the app for many years too.

I moved house in February, and since then I have been unable to place an order to be delivered to my home address, despite having placed dozens of orders successfully at my previous home address. The reason being that the
Customer validation checks for these new orders have failed.

Despite numerous emails to the customer service department, which have all being treated as a singular emails with a stock response “we are unable to discuss why a validation check has failed”.

Requests to escalate the issue to App administrators or IT staff all ignored, calls to customer service have resulted in the same failure to resolve the issue.

Through a process of elimination, I now understand that my address must be black listed on their app and online platform, I had tried different cards, ensured that all my cards were correctly registered to my address, placed orders online as guest - nothing worked, all orders I wanted to be delivered failed (there have been numerous, about 10 since moving here)

So today, I tried one last thing - I placed an order to be delivered to store, and it worked!!

I am now certain that my address is black listed, maybe (I am guessing) the previous occupant, kept “not receiving” orders, and it triggered a do not deliver to this address by Boots, the App fails to cross reference me rather just the address, making it impossible for me to order for delivery to my home address.

This wouldn’t be a major issue if when Boots are called or emailed, explaining the issue, they actually escalate it to the App administrators or IT department when requested, rather just sending than same stock response and doing anything about it.

Boots - you need your App to:

- Not black list an address only, black list a person and address so if they move, future occupants can place orders

- most importantly you need to improve your customer service, so if a customer has a issue it’s actually escalated and resolved

Card access in store

App it’s self is good - however getting it to work in a store is a different matter plymouth boots - have to use WiFi which can be non existent in store - also why can’t you just do a add all button for the discounts instead of scrolling through otherwise love boots x

Missing item

I have been shopping online with Boots for quite some time, and they have never missed an item from any of my previous orders. However, when my recent order arrived on 13/08/26, I noticed that one item was missing — The Ordinary Glycolic Acid.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach a customer service representative, as I have only been able to communicate with the AI chat. I hope Boots can improve this service and provide customers with better access to support when there is an issue with an order.

I would really appreciate your help in locating the missing item and arranging for it to be sent to me, or providing a suitable resolution.

Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.

I LOVEEEEEE BOOTSSSSS

App

The boots app seems to always be having technical difficulties. On trying to check online deliveries/ help with a problem and also ordering I found it impossible to access anything. I was stuck in the shop enquiring about a delivery but couldn’t get any response on the app or any real help from an assistant who kept telling me ring the number on the receipt he gave me.

Terrible app

So slow and doesn’t open the correct items when you click on them, some items like makeup are impossible to see when choosing a particular shade. Just buggy AF

Fabulous service

I went into Boots ( Whitehaven ) today with a faulty electrical product I had purchased. A wonderful lady called Sandra helped me, and talked me through everything. She was very knowledgeable about the product and went above and beyond. She is a valued employee and definitely a credit to Boots!!!!!!!!!

Despite my many email & complaints to Boots to have them reset my password!!

They have failed to do so & are giving my my 3 contact lens accounts, all earning points to somebody rogue, all because their optician team typed in the wrong details, but neither they Nor Boots customer services, will contact me back, to rectify that & unlock my account for me to shop on line now I am permanently Paralysed from the arm pits down, I cant just pop to my local Boots at all!!
So this seems to be my only option/way to re-complain & to do this, I have had to make another account & have a new advantage card added, as my advantage account which had hundreds of pounds worth of points on, have now just disappeared & are being given to god knows who!!
So hopefully as this is now 3 YEARS THAT THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON, I MAY FINALLY GET A HUMAN DECENCY RESPONSE TO THIS PROBLEM & THEY FINALLY RETURN MY LONG STANDING ACCOUNT & ALL MY HUNDREDS OF POUNDS IN ADVANTAGE CARD POINTS & RESET MY PASSWORD AS REQUEST AT LEAST 💯 TIMES!!

But it seems them permitting fraud & breaching my privacy & leaking my Data to strangers, whom Boots have assisted in allowing them to mug me off of hundreds of pounds, is an acceptable practice at BOOTS even though its is FRAUDULENT!!

Their opticians team in Peterborough made the mistake, but refused to rectify it on 3 occasions, they just said 🤷🏻‍♀️not our problem!!
UTTERLY DISGRACEFUL!!
