New firmware still sucks
8.2.20 is god awful, bring back 5.0.20
What a waste of money for a premium product.
Getting it to connect in the app almost never works now without trying 5 times and a bunch of features were removed.
I have to carry a wire to use it at work since pairing it with a 3rd device without bluetooth carousel sucks. OS bluetooth menus are universally annoying.

Absolutely useless and stupid
The Bluetooth’s connection DOES NOT WORK. I have to literally take them OUT of my ears and reset the entire thing to just connect it. And that’s not even guaranteeing that they will work. The app stops connection the second you put them away so you have to reconnect EVERY SINGLE TIME. The app is completely useless and would be better off just getting AirPods. Forget it if you don’t have internet. Useless and stupid.

Minimally functional
Does nothing to help troubleshoot if things aren’t working as expected. Publish the key combinatory the speakers
Connection fail
Had Bose for a few years and , works for a while and then just stops. Tried deleting and reinstalling app and even worse , spent hours trying to pair app with speakers with no joy , really frustrating

Does all I need - feature request about Speaker Groups
I use the app to group speakers and play to them using Roon via Airplay.
Speaker groups should appear on the main page with the list of speakers, rather than having to select a specific speaker first and then choosing the group.
I have a Soundbar 900 with sub on one side of our main floor with the TV, and a Smart 500 on the other side of in the kitchen. I grouped them as Main Floor and select it anytime I’m playing music instead of watching TV.

Terrible
Using with Smart Soundbar Ultra
Barely works, very slow, poor design, zero functionality compared to the competition. No EQ presets, no preset-input binding.

Auto-off annoying
Have Bose soundlink max speaker, set auto-off to 1 hour, but the speaker off automatically after 10-20 minutes when idle.

Bad Software Update!
I just invested three grand into the new lifestyle components and they were working fine until July software update which now makes them fall off-line constantly, especially on an EERO mesh system. Orbi 770 does much better but still can’t hang onto what ever the hell Bose did to their software and (especially) Lifestyle firmware.
I have a large Bose network and now I cannot recommend their products in this state, which is practically UNUSABLE.

Wtf did you do to this app
Used this app for years no issues at all. Now my phone no longer communicates with the quiet comfort earbuds and the app is looking for way more permissions than necessary just to connect earbuds.
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
For the price they sell their BOSE GARBAGE!!!!!! Impossible to find my sound bar and shall the time only the left speaker works, app doesn’t recognize the soundbar, can’t adjust sound, doesn’t sync 80% of the time, can’t use the app. it’s awful just awful!!
UX at its finest
Everything is so easy to use. I always dread getting companion apps, but this one is just so intuitive and the design is so well thought out.
I can’t use it
For some reason this app only works on my iPad and not my iPhone 16 or iPhone X (Both fully updated.) they should just have buttons/sliders to change the EQ and stuff instead because what’s the point of an app I can’t access most of the time?

Doesn’t work
The app litterally doesn’t let my nc 700 connect. Its ridiculous to pay this much for headphones that you can’t even use the features on

The Bose sound is amazing…but only when you can get the lousy app to function. I have 2 smart speakers that only randomly sync
Ultra quiet comfort gen 2
I honestly love these headphones , I’m one of those people who loves to have quality headphones. So I’m constantly buying new headphones in search of the best sound quality. These headphones are so crisp and clean sounding, and I hate it when a pair of headphones don’t have bass but I’m very surprised with the bass. I mean if it were up to me I’d put just alil bit more bass… lol I’m a bass junky but no I think I found my new favorite headphones….. for now🤔

Tries to do too much while failing
Headphone has automatic sensors to turn off. Sounds great at first except it turns off automatically if you move your head too much. Turned off the setting on my headphone now my headphones cant power off anymore even when i force hold power button for a long time. Noise canceling options are not very good. I wanted a no noise canceling option for when im outside and the wind is blowing but they removed that from the newer models which limits ur noises canceling to very low instead of completely off
