Fake reviews
Most of the positive reviews I see are fake. I put these lights on my house and it is having constant issues. The lights bleed washing the wall with mixed colors that looks ugly, and the app is horrible. The schedule doesn’t work and it keeps dropping the signal. I had to replace the lights twice already as some went bad and it’s so hard to get hold of the dealer who installed it. Even the dealer once said he regrets he installed Bosso lights and suggesting to move to the other system he now adopted due to many such complaints he received from other clients. I’ll never recommend this company to anyone even if they offer you hefty discounts which is nothing but their sales tactics.

Forced ai
App is terrible. Forces you to watch videos periodically before able to access the app and its pure ai garbage.
Best app on the market
Best user friendly and functional app. Unlimited timers make it super nice. The presets are absolutely amazing! Their system has true white so it makes it much more elegant.

Don’t bother they don’t support their product.
Schedule setting not reliable.
I have had the system for a few months now and find the schedule setting unreliable. In the past month at least 60% of the time one of my zones do not come on using the schedule setting. Have to manually turn on. Also found that once you make a schedule it cannot be modified. For example at xmas had xmas lights tried to change lights to an everyday light and schedule kept going back to xmas lights. Had to creat another schedule. Now i have two zones not working at all. Shouldnt be this difficult.

New system
Bosso Lights app has been overall a great experience. Being able to apply schedules, do light selections, the nice presets, plus my wife likes the menus so she uses it.
My only gripe is that my installer used two controllers for our property and I have to separately choose each controller and apply presets. Since the house is wired in left to right, it would be nice if they allowed virtual linking of the controllers as one whole unit. This would also allow patterns to flow over into the next controller and not look separated.

Horrible
The accent lighting is supposed to remain solid; however, the lights are malfunctioning.
We are becoming increasingly frustrated, as we were informed that someone would be out today to fix either issues with the app, lights or both, yet we received no notification that no one would be arriving. As a result, we spent the entire day at home waiting. We understand that unexpected issues can arise, but timely communication is essential.
We have had these lights for approximately two months, and they have only functioned properly for about five weeks. Given the $3,200 investment, this situation is understandably difficult and disappointing.
Please let us know how and when this will be addressed. We would like this resolved as soon as possible.

Install
Marco installed our lights and was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was very cold 21 degrees and Marco never complained about anything.

I genuinely don’t think any of these 1 star reviews have used the app ever. This is the most intuitive permanent lighting app on the market. Love my Bosso app so easy to use and I can book out my whole year in it so I never have to manually turn off or turn on my lights ever!
Fix immediately
Can’t have a system run on an app that works on a thread.
Not enough FX features and options
Maybe try to incorporate an FX section that emulates Light o Rama. It would be great to be able to create FX instead of using the mediocre stuff that is available...oh and stop with the updates and videos you have to watch. Nobody wants to update their app every time they open it up or watch your videos.

Frustrating
This is frustrating. The AI never works. It’ll get the colors, but I’ll never do any of the effects. Then I just did the update and I had to re-enter my Wi-Fi info and it won’t connect.

This app is awful. They make you watch stupid videos to continue and it never works properly
Watch an ad?
I came home tonight and wanted to change my Christmas lights from Thanksgiving to Christmas. I had to watch literally 90 seconds of ads before it would let me control the lights that I’ve already purchased. Nope!
Forced video ads before you change lights
The app updated and forced me to watch 3 video ads where Alison tries to upsell me on smart home features. No skip button. You had to watch ads before you could do anything. Gross.
Recent update forces videos on you.
I don’t need or want to watch your ads of product enhancements. It won’t let the application user into the app without watching the videos. This is a terrible user experience. The product manager should be shamed.
Forcing me to Watch Your Videos?
1 star for making me watch 3 videos for the new updates. I can figure stuff out on my own and schedules for light shows haven’t worked right in a year. You guys are the worst!
