Good hosting platform, but…
This is actually a really cool idea, and it’s really helpful for people who have little to no coding experience if they ever wanna make a bot for their server! I’ve found myself enjoying using it on computer.
The mobile app could use some work, however. I typically use it on my computer, and I think I’m gonna keep it that way for now. The app is basically just the mobile browser site, but with its own designated app, and that causes a LOT of issues.
First testing out the app, and I found myself accidentally zoomed in and unable to zoom back out (pinching my fingers garnered no response). Second, while attempting to add new modules, it reloaded/crashed THREE TIMES within less than five minutes. Plus, I was also trying to set up sticky messages, and since the app is basically a just the mobile site, the color changer was laggy and bordered on unresponsive… right before the app crashed again.
Nice idea, but I think I’ll be sticking to the computer dashboard, at least until the app is fixed. Otherwise, it’s an awesome platform!

Horrible
This service is absolutely horrible going for taking as much money from you and giving you garbage… I first got the subscription having fun using it and it was wonderful till I got complaints on my bot to make the configuration nicer. So I decided to do so and worked on a new configuration and tried to make it super clean and smooth but the thing was the code just didn’t work everything was falling apart it looked nice but didnt function nice nor function at all then recently they stated they fixed multiple bugs including the youtube event and music but the youtube event doesn’t work and music is even more screwed and when 2 others reported music they said “I’m sorry we are looking for issues that cant be solved by messing with the block code” When those users used the pre-made modules made by Botghost not to mention they have absolutely horrible support and the owner hasn’t said a word for 4 months with a estimate he makes 10,000 each month… How can you make 10,000 a month and never even say anything back to your customers? Its overall just a absolutely horrible platform unless you want to do some scratch jr type stuff not to mention the limits of the free version is like scratch jr if it had a scratch jr it sucks even premium has limits which is so little…
Even the reviews is inaccurate Dreamcatchedstudios doesn’t even use the service nor ever made contact with support adrofi seems to have done very basic things before seeing the issues Igncutie is the same as adrofi (I even found igncutie’s discord bots) and then here it gets even worse where we have best4nice a moderator reviewing what he moderates very biased I know then Xfant another staff member who’s community support then ClapZFN_ who is ALSO community support showing how people who barely even use it or is just is biased are leaving reviews to make this seem good when it really isn’t if you just want to play clean like modules V2 broke down to and it isn’t even BETA…
Not to even mention you don’t own you’re work you can’t even export the files of the bot with most staff making “Security” excuses which is just wrong and the owner said its impossible so then im here asking what code is getting fed to be processed if its apparently impossible to get it… if its impossible to get it then its impossible to run it…

They took my feedback
I have been using this service since before they had their own custom dashboard for bots you can use. I would like to say 2-3 years of using botghost. I love it and I was the one to suggest (in their discord server) to make a mobile app and the fact that they listen and implemented it just shows how much they respect their community! I would 100% recommend using this platform bc of their great customer support and for the amazing learning experience you can get out of it!

I’ve been using discord awhile and when I discovered and learned how to use botghost it changed the way I make servers, truly awesome!
