About

Scan a rock, know the lift. BoulderLift turns your iPhone Pro's LiDAR into a field tool that estimates a boulder's weight and tells you — green, amber, or red — whether your machine can lift it. No tape can measure a lumpy rock. BoulderLift orbits the boulder, reconstructs its shape, multiplies the volume by the stone's density, and gives you a weight in tons with an honest low–high range. Then it checks that worst-case weight against your machine's rated capacity and gives you a clear SAFE / CAUTION / UNSAFE call before you hook on. HOW IT WORKS • Walk around the rock with LiDAR (iPhone Pro) — or just type its length, width and height on any iPhone. • Tap the ground to set the base; the volume updates live. • Pick the stone type (granite, basalt, limestone, sandstone and more) or use the conservative default. • Read the banded weight in US tons or metric tonnes. KNOW THE LIFT • Save your machines — skid-steer, compact track loader, excavator, telehandler, wheel loader — with their rated capacity. • The verdict uses the standards your machines are rated by (ISO 14397-1 ROC for loaders, ISO 10567 lift charts for excavators) and never double-discounts your rating. • The decision is driven off the heavy end of the estimate, so a green light means real margin to spare. BUILT FOR THE JOBSITE • Works fully offline. No account, no sign-in, no cloud. • Camera-only. Nothing leaves your phone. • Saved boulder records and a shareable lift-card PDF with Pro. A PLANNING AID — NOT A SCALE Weights are estimates and the verdict uses a capacity you enter. Always verify against your machine's manufacturer load chart and follow your site's safety rules. PRO A one-time unlock — no subscription. Unlimited machine profiles, saved boulder history, and the shareable lift-card PDF. No ads. No tracking. No account. Scan a rock. Know the lift.
