This app used to work, but not in the last 6 months. Just freezes on the red screen and doesn’t do anything. This app is bricked and useless.

I downloaded the app before reading the reviews. (SMH). Do not download this app I couldn’t even sign in. Do not waste your time. The tech team has a lot of work to do. Such a disappointment. Right now it’s not even worth a star but the “feedback” wouldn’t let me send without putting one on it 😩

The app stopped working months ago and won’t open past the logo. Completely useless now!!!

It use be be a useful app. Unfortunately for the last 6 months every time you try to open the app it just gets stuck in the initial bow tie cinema screen.
Somethings wrong
I used to use this app regularly. However here lately all it does is sit on the initial bow tie app screen with the logo and doesn’t go any farther. What’s wrong?

It doesn't work anymore. It doesn't allow me to buy oe even open the app. ig was easy to use but not anymore
Why do you have to select your cinema each time?
Once you select a favorite cinema, it should be a set it and forget it thing. You have to do it each time you open this app. Also, the app sometimes refuses to poll beyond the opening screen. It just gets stuck. Lastly, it was a very under-communicated thing getting rid of the paid Criterion Gold membership. I have yet to see an offer for a special screening of a movie for the regular unpaid Criterion (Blue) Club. Seeing your available rewards is a bit of a guessing game. People at the concessions stand are under informed about Criterion rewards. I know Bowtie can do better.

Colors are dark
The app is pretty easy to use. My one complaint is the colors. You have dark red on black. It’s hard to see.
Borderline useless, the website is even worse.
Refused to refund my ticket, can’t sign up for the gold membership, logged me out while I was actively using the app. What’s the point? I guess it’s to make me go back to Regal.

it is SO hard to tell what seats are taken unless you let your eyes adjust. please make that more user friendly !

Good App But…
Bow Tie never actually saves your favorites location. Other than that it’s a pretty good app for ease of buying tickets.
The app is junk
I can’t buy tickets with a voucher on the app and after I buy the tickets I can’t put them in my Apple wallet. Bow Tie needs to get with the times.
Terrible app
Unable to advance to the seating chart after selecting the number of seats you’d like to purchase.
Ticket Booking Error
Can no longer book tickets through the app. After you select a time for a movie, it freezes and you cannot continue. Been going on for weeks and no amount of refreshing the app and trying again works.
