Taking something decent and making it awful
This app is absolutely garbage. Does not save points after purchase.
Always reverts back to zero points. No way to use free tickets, app just says one free ticket with no code or place to use it. New month and I should technically have 2 free tickets but nope still says 1. Took a perfectly reasonable working app and updated it with possibly the worst app I’ve ever used. This is the definition of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it smh. Rotten Tomato Boooooo

After the update it’s been HORRIBLE
It al started when I tried logging into my account and apparently I had to create a new one and loose all of my points. I did it, been to the movies several times after the update and I haven’t gotten any points.
I was considering joining the membership but honestly after this horrible service I don’t even know if the membership will work, as a long time customer of CMX this is very disappointing and upsetting.
Also each time I log in it logs me out when I go back in.

Just awful
I bought a gift card as a Christmas present in December. I just tried to use to go to the Cinebistro to see Project Hail Mary and was told that CMX has changed their computer system and those gift cards don’t work. The theater said it was a corporate problem and they could not honor it or give me my money back. The manager took my information and said a new card would be mailed to me. That was two weeks ago and just crickets. I can’t believe what an amateurish operation. Now I’m going to have to go back to the theater (they don’t answer phones) and argue to get my gift card or money back. By then i will have wasted three hours trying to use my gift card.

Update Terrible
The update is horrible! Previously it was easier to tell the seats we’re together now you need to count. It’s trash! Logs out
