About

Boxing Box is a boxing coach that lives entirely on your phone. No account, no sign-up, no internet connection. Open it in a gym basement, on a plane, or with the phone in airplane mode, and every feature works exactly the same. PUNCH SCHOOL — LEARN THE NUMBERS FIRST Boxing gyms call punches by number, and the app teaches that language before it starts using it. You answer one question — which hand do you write with? — and from then on the app talks about your actual left and right instead of "lead hand". Then you walk the six numbered punches one at a time: a short looping video of the punch being thrown, what the punch is for, how to throw it in four steps, the cues to remember, and the mistakes to avoid. If you are left-handed the clip is mirrored, so the picture always agrees with the words. A four-question check at the end proves the key landed: odd numbers (1, 3, 5) are your front hand, even numbers (2, 4, 6) are your back hand. Learn that once and you can follow any coach in any gym. FULL SESSIONS, NOT JUST A TIMER 83 training sessions, built from a boxing research library and grouped into six tiers from Rookie to Champion. Each one is a whole session in order: warm-up, technique, rounds, conditioning, cool-down. Warm-up and cool-down are never dropped — where a source session did not spell them out, the app supplies them. Before you start, you see the full plan: every block, how long it runs, what the coach actually tells you to do in it, the cues for the session, and the common mistakes. Nothing starts until you tap Start. THE LIVE ROUND The bell sounds, and one spoken line gives you the theme of the round. After that the calls are tones — one tone per punch. Straights are bright and clean, hooks are percussive, uppercuts rise the way the punch does, and your front hand always sounds higher than your back hand. Nothing reads punch names aloud while you work, so you can keep your eyes off the screen and your hands up. A round is bursts of one repeated string with real movement between them — step out, circle left, reset guard, breathe — so no part of the round is dead time. Ten seconds before the end you get a triple click, then the bell. BUILT FOR A PHONE ON THE FLOOR • Plays over your own music instead of pausing or ducking it. • The screen stays awake for the whole session, and the clock reads from across the room. • Big coloured pills light up in step with the tones, so one glance tells you the string. YOUR PROGRESS STAYS YOURS Finish a session and you earn XP, levels, six ranks and a daily streak. Your fighter name, your stance, your level, your finished sessions — all of it is stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to. WHAT THIS APP DOES NOT DO • No account, no login, no email address. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. • No purchases and no subscriptions. • No internet connection needed for anything. • English only for now. iPhone only. Boxing Box is a training aid, not a substitute for a coach. Train at a level that suits you, warm up and cool down properly, and get qualified instruction before you spar. Punch demonstration clips: "LOS 6 GOLPES BÁSICOS en el boxeo" by KettleWarrior (youtube.com/watch?v=fFMsdICSJUI), licensed CC BY 3.0, trimmed, muted and mirrored for left-handed boxers. The credit is shown in the app under every clip and in full at the end of the punch school.
