A new beat-tracking stage resolves the half-time and triplet errors that were the most common cause of a wrong number, and sub-beat interpolation means a track now reads its exact tempo instead of the nearest reachable step. • Live BPM runs the same engine as file analysis and reads out a rolling vote instead of a single window — steadier on screen and substantially more accurate. • Batch scanning is 4.4x faster. 100 tracks take about 12 seconds instead of 52. • Writing a BPM tag no longer disturbs a file that is playing in another app. The tagged copy is built alongside and swapped in atomically. • macOS: fixed the microphone not opening, and fixed BPM not saving into MP3 metadata. • The BPM Range picker now explains itself. If a fast track reads at half speed, the range is what decides that, and one step up fixes it. • iPhone: rotate to landscape during a live session for a full-screen readout. • Half and double now re-analyze at the octave you asked for instead of simply multiplying by two.
