Branch Health User Reviews

Day 1

So far…immensely disappointing! Developers can see my posts or comments in the app for more details. I’ll give it 2 more days but not too hopeful.

Really Helpful

My doctor had me join this program and I’ve found it really helpful. I also really like the Branch Out sessions with the pain psychologists and physical therapists who are kind and informative.

Journies

Can you not add More than one journey for multiple diagnosis? I like the activity tracker I have been unable to find that on other apps but only being able to do one pain journey is not going to work for me I hope I am wrong?

Horrible

This is just horrible. I was asked by my doctor to try this, but after attempting 4 times to start a journey and being unable to do so accurately and sending emails to this company requesting help twice, and NOT being answered, I am not wasting any more time on it. Concept is nice but their beta testers obviously were not real people; a real person would have identified the multiple issues i found in just the first two pages. Don’t waste your time with this.

12-29-30 update
After taking some really deep breaths, I am going to change my review of this app. The company reached out to me, asking for specifics, which I gave them. Virtually all of them were incorporated into the next update. There are still a couple of things that I would still like to see fixed, eg it does seem to crash/ freeze up fairly often, and would like to be able to go back and see previous entries. I’d also like to be able to update a previous entry, say within 24 hrs? But those are fairly minor issues. After using this app for multiple months, I feel I can give a good, strong 4 stars instead of a 1. I will continue to make suggestions as I run across issues, in the certainty that they will be addressed!

Where do I go where I can answer the questions

I am looking forward to put my pain down. I have tried but I keep messing up. I don’t know what to do. My severe pain started on my right side and radiate to the back. My severe pain started on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 and I have been in severe pain now for seven days.
My doctors are Dr. Net and Dr. Kiefer. I would like for them to get my message. I try working on this system but it keeps disappearing and throwing me out. So, I am going to send this and if it goes nowhere please forward it to them. Thank y’all very much.

Solid App

This has some nice features regarding tracking chronic pain and injury management. The articles that they post are usually informative as well. They are very responsive when technical issues arise.

Response from developer

Thank you for your support! We are are glad to have you as part of the Ouchie community.

Best of its kind

This is the best app on the market to track and treat chronic pain

Great App But Needs Work

I love this app but not all of my conditions are available to track. It’s a nice community and way to connect with others. I hope to see this app continue to grow and add more conditions.

Response from developer

Hi! Thank you so much for the review. Please feel free to contact us at anytime at hello@ouchie.com and we'd love to add any condition for you.

Needs Massive Improvements!!

This app is an excellent concept. But it needs a massive overhaul and tons of improvements for it to be truly helpful and worth using. My pain is not simply pain from a temporary injury. And I think that most people who would gravitate to using an app like this would be in a similar situation as myself. It’s part of my life as a result of lots of illnesses. But your app doesn’t have the features to support this. Nor does it have the capabilities to really be a supportive community. Which is a shame.
Plus it’s constantly crashing and as much as I want to use this app; it’s becoming more and more frustrating to use. (And I’ve got enough frustration with everything else I deal with. ) So I’m deleting and not reinstalling this app until there are major improvements.

Needs more tweaking! ✔️

This app helps me track my chronic illness. Definitely going to tell my primary care physician about this app. This app needs more marketing. You can track, connect, learn, and earn on this app. #donthurtalone 🤕

Impressive

I was amazed by the questions it asked. This app is a keeper as I finally found one that will be useful for my complicated life. Thank you to the developers!

Response from developer

Yay! We love that you love it so much!

It won’t work

The app does not start up for me

GREAT!!!!

Really cool app - super interesting way to diagnose

Great So Far!

I had some difficulty on my end with uploading my information and navigating through the app. I received instant help from Rachel, she walked me through each step to troubleshoot, and my issues were solved. I’m enjoying the app so far, and the customer service is definitely outstanding!

Room For Improvement!

I just want to start by saying I LOVE this app and the concept behind it. It is a wonderful idea and has already been very helpful in combating loneliness. However, there are definitely some design improvements that could be made! For example, it would be great to add other users by username. I recently promoted this app in an EDS Facebook group and asked for others to leave their usernames if they decided to make an account. Shortly after I discovered there is no way to search by username which is super unfortunate! Or, if there is a way to do this, it is not obvious enough for users. I also think the way that a user updates their “journies” on a daily basis could be improved. After starting a new journey, the questions asked for updating could be a bit different. Reasking the same questions each day (lifestyle, type of pain, etc.) is a bit confusing and misleading. I’m describing this very poorly, so I apologize. I see a lot of areas that could be minorly tweaked in order to improve the app’s flow and etc. I’d love to elaborate more elsewhere if possible. Source: Studying UX Design.

Fantastic!

Ouchie is the only chronic pain tracker I’ve found that has an amazing community, as well as such an easy to follow update system and great brief articles. They do have some bugs and changes coming to the app but they are so responsive to email! It took them less than a day to get back to an issue I was having, and they worked to get it fixed right away. I know they listen to feedback from the community, which means they make changes based on our needs. Absolutely amazing app!

Excellent app

Interesting concept and very helpful for people with chronic pains (like me).

Can’t live without it!

Ouchie is one of the first apps I go on in the morning. And periodically throughout the day. The sense of community they’ve created is fantastic! I also really love their well curated content. It’s always just what I need to feel better! This is a must download for anyone with any sort of chronic pain.

Ouchie takes my pain away!

Love Ouchie! Having a supportive community and resources readily available like this definitely lessens the headache that comes with feeling alone and in physical pain. Such a great idea and highly recommended!

Ouchie

First off, I have tried many apps like this one. And I love this one in comparison. However, it keeps crashing lately. Also, just a suggestion.. I have multiple health issues. And with each one is multiple symptoms. I might have symptoms with my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome one day and the next it’s a different array of symptoms. I also have Fibromyalgia and Scoliosis. Once you create a journey, it seems you cannot go back and add more pain symptoms of any kind. You just update them? So that would mean creating many journeys titled CFS for me haha. Also, I created another journey while trying to figure out what to do, and I cannot delete it.
These are merely suggestions. I love your app so far. Thank you!
