Brilliant design—it actually helps me put my phone down myself.
I've tried Opal, One Sec, and other app blockers but couldn't stick with them. Then I found this app. Unlike others that lock apps, it forces a 20-second break after some use. It's a brilliant design—my mind thinks "it's just 20 seconds," so I wait, and that's enough time to regain control and put the phone down. What a smart approach!

Sorry for the confusion! The app is designed to prevent deleting items during break periods. This helps ensure you can't skip breaks and maintains the intended workflow. That said, we recognize the current design didn't communicate this intention clearly enough. The new version has already improved this feature for a much better experience. Please give the latest update a try — we'd love to hear your feedback!
Works well
Unlike most other break reminder apps, this one has a strict mode that uses the screen time/app limit feature to interrupt you and stop you properly, rather than just notifications I don't notice. Brilliant!
It's a little glitchy, and needs turning back on after your phone/iPad upgrades or restarts, but is miles better than anything else I've tried. Timings are all configurable, and you can pay to have specific app exceptions if you need it not to interrupt calls.
