Wish it worked :(

This is exactly the app I’ve been looking for. Unfortunately, it’s too buggy to be effective. Spent a lot of time putting in the info for it to delete everything when I hit save. It’s also hard to press some of the icons at the bottom of my screen. Great idea, shoddy follow through.

Seems to have it all with a couple of caveats.

I got all my animals imputed, love that it has a pedigree, however you can’t put in pedigree of animals that you didn’t breed on your farm it doesn’t look like. No where did it say you need to pay a subscription of $2.79 a month or $19.99 a year. Kind of disappointing. Would be nice to know in advance.

You can use support pedigree status for animals you don’t own. As for the subscription, when you download the app you must acknowledge the free trial and subscription before you are able to do anything. You can cancel anytime through managing your subscriptions if you are not happy.

Pretty good but theres bugs

iv been using this app about 4 months and its been pretty good!! there are bugs like when u enter an animal it crashes, or the animal just doesn't save and disappears completely and wont let u add another animal at all!! other than that this app is great for small breeders.

Love this App!

Loving using this app for managing my livestock. I use it for Chickens, pigs, goats, and rabbits! Would love to see a category to manage and keep track of spending.

There is an app for Android that I used called Farmers Wallet. It allowed me to categorize spending and income for each species of animal so I was able to track who was pulling their weight and what area I needed to work on. I’ve found nothing like it for apple apps yet. If there’s anyway to look at that app and develop something similar or incorporate it into this app I would pay for it gladly!!

Semi workable

Overall it is a good start by there are a lot of little changes that would make it more user friendly. First, I would like to be able to customize the the overall view. I think changing the format to more of a dash board would help aesthetically. I wish I could customize what info I want to see in the list. Currently it only allows you to see the name and date of birth. I would rather be able to see the name and weight of the animal since that is what is important to me. I think adjusting it to be able to preset what info you want would be really helpful. Also, I think if they were to create a tree for each animal so I can quickly add their ancestors would we easier rather then having to add a whole entire entry each time. I also don’t like the fact that every time I add a sire or dam it deletes the image and puts it on the dam or sire. I then have to go redo the picture of my current animal each time. I believe this is a glitch. Another addition that would be helpful would be to create categories or folders that are easier to sort. Like I said overall the app is working but it definitely needs some better organizing, more of an aesthetically pleasing look and user friendly features. I hope they actually adjust it because if they did it will probably attract a lot of users.

I breed land snails, and couldn’t find an app that wasn’t exclusively for dogs or exclusively for cats, etc. when I finally found this. It even allows ID numbers so I can track which generation bred in captivity the snail is.
