Decent function, constant logins

App offers decent functionality- allows you to boot and heat up your machine on demand, but requires constant logins making it more annoying to use than any function enhancement makes it worth.

Good start & missing feature

Good start (pun intended), yet should really be integrated to Apple Shortcuts and Apple Home, so the machine can be started automatically, such as when waking up or turning the morning lights on.

Nothing you couldn’t already do

Not sure why app start is necessary when the Oracle already had auto start. And helpful videos were already available. But it is an additional feature that gives them an excuse to charge more. New Dual boiler has all of the same features as the touch but with a slightly more modern design. Touch also has dual boiler btw.

It’s there as an added layer of convenience and personalization for those who want it, while the machine works beautifully on its own. Pointless app

What a pointless application. It takes longer to open the app than it does to walk to my coffee machine and switch it on. Pure gimmick!

It’s wireless!

I love that after being out and about you can turn on the machine and have it ready to brew as soon as you are in the door. I must admit, I was sceptical and thought this was a gimmick, but now have come to love the convenience especially in the morning due to irregular wake-up times, I gut reach for the phone, turn on the machine and a few minutes later it’s good to go, all while you are rubbing the sleep out of your eyes and waking up!

Limited functionality. Potential there though.

Being able to wake up and get the machine started up and heating up is cool, but to be able to manage the drinks (strength, grind, milk temp etc) would be a significantly better experience.
