Excellent food, terrible app!
It feels like I have issues every time I use the app, it underwent a redesign which I hoped would help but sadly doesn’t seem to! - I often have to force quit it as the menu stops responding. - My orders page shows no orders atm, previously I have also seen orders on that page that weren’t mine going to other customers. - When I place an order my basket is not cleared and there is no indication that I have completed my order outside of the charge on my card and the food turning up. A simple app with a couple of list views and a one page basket flow is the sort of project a junior dev could do in their spare time, it’s hardly rocket science! That said I can’t fault the food, have used both delivery and gone in person for many years and the food is always fresh and exceptionally good!
Update 29/09/24:
App has been updated and now no longer supports local accounts, Google SSO is required. The support chat does not move to the next line when you type so once you write a message wider than your screen, e.g. a few words, you cannot submit the message because the submit button has been pushed off the page.
More updates that have actively made the app worse, I hope you guys aren’t paying for this because it remains one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. As a bonus you can’t even order the Salmon & Cream Cheese bagel on the app since the update, it’s not listed 👌

Homepage crashing
On the home page when I selected a product it kept crashing - so I had to order through the different headings and sadly there wasn’t the option for the salt beef bagel in there so I’ve gone for the sandwich instead…

Good bagels
I made a mistake in my address upon ordering that the staff kindly agreed to fix and redeliver. There were some problems rearranging the order as staff were very busy, but they do have a dedicated customer service phone number that was very helpful when I reached it. In the end, they delivered the order a couple of days later and refunded the fee for the inconvenience.

Delicious bagels. Never on time. Don’t order if you want them for a specific time. Still waiting, an hour and a half later. App tracker not working. People in the shop no help.

My delivery cost came up to £23.30 and I live in London. Thats double the price for my order.
An institution
For many years working in the city this was my last stop before cab home and now I can enjoy the experience delivered to my home. If you haven’t tried - don’t think about just do it 🔥
Brilliant Brunch Beigels
Love that I can now get Brick Lane Beigel Bake bagels straight to my home for my weekend brunch.
