They are absolute Sharks and charge .1 percent less than what would trigger federal probes for predatory lending.

The app simply does nothing but let you change passwords or talk to AI chat 100% pointless highly don’t recommended your better off just finding a different source to help you.. because a loan of 500$ you will be paying back 3,000+$ don’t do it

App engages in fraudulent or misleading activity

This company gave me a $700 loan while living in Illinois, with a 699.96% APR. That violates Illinois state law, which caps APR at 36%. I paid $344.46 before learning the loan was illegal. The company refuses to refund or respond. This app supports predatory, unlawful lending and should be reviewed by Apple for removal.

Edit: Fascinating that you can reply here for damage control but can’t be bothered to respond to my actual emails. I’ve contacted you multiple times to resolve this, and you’ve ignored every attempt. You issued a 699.96% APR loan to me while I was living in Illinois—where that rate is illegal under state law. I’ve paid $344.46 already on a void loan. You refuse to refund or engage directly, yet have time to write PR responses on app reviews? That’s not transparency….it’s evasion. Regulators are already involved.

Worst mistake Ever

Beware before you choose to borrow from this company aside from the rates being ridiculously high customer service is useless. Quite honestly they should be reported to the BBB.

Scam

To everyone who got screwed because they were desperate and couldn’t comprehend the fine print; these loans are illegal, they don’t follow federal guidelines; they operate off “tribal laws” which don’t apply if you’re not on their reservation. So don’t feel bad if you can’t pay them back. There’s protections against predatory loans in every state, which these are.

Warning ⚠️

High interest is normally for a short term but I just found out there a $14 daily charge! If loan not paid off?! They won’t contact you if a payment didn’t go through so that put you in a late fee charge on the account and interested on that too. I thought I read everything in the contact but I guess I missed something. Another thing!!!! this dose not show on your credit report that you are making payment on time meaning doing good with this company won’t help you in future so don’t bother getting a loan here not unless you are just needing the fast money and paid off fast but be ready because they might throw you a curve ball.😉

Changed my balance.

So the other day I checked my account and it said my balance was like $900 something and when I checked it again this afternoon it says my balance was a little over 1,000 I have never missed a payment on this and am aware of the high interest but that shouldn’t effect what my balance is it should be getting lower not higher and I feel like I’m getting screwed over. They changed my balance on me and I have no idea why and I can’t find a way to check my previous payments. This is ridiculous. I only borrowed $1,000 and have been paying it off since May. I am grateful that I was able to get the money as fast as I needed it and I thought the terms of the contract were reasonable but I never imagined that they would change my balance on me like that I wish that I would have taken a screenshot and was able to post the change as proof but I’m just really upset about this right now. I don’t think I will be comfortable using this loan service again due to this issue. I can’t say it’s 100% a scam because I did get the money but the rest of it definitely feels like a scam so beware to those looking into this service.

Do Not Use this app!!!

This Is a scam! They will lend you a small amount and dump interest on you even if you pay on time. I borrowed 400$ and ended up pay close to 800$ they doubled the amount and it’s just not worth it I promise!!

Predatory Lending Scam by Rent-A-Tribe Scheme. Loan Sharks.

I am one of many borrowers who have been ensnared in the predatory web of Bright Lending. Despite diligently making ten on-time bi-weekly payments totaling $2,688.30, I was shocked to discover that the overwhelming majority of my payments had been allocated towards interest, leaving me with an outstanding balance of $2,019.24 on the original $2,100 loan. A mere $80 has been applied to the principal amount, effectively trapping me in a cycle of debt with no end in sight.

This situation not only highlights the egregious nature of the exorbitant 325% interest rate imposed by Bright Lending but also underscores the predatory amortization structure employed by such entities, where minimal progress is made toward reducing the principal balance. It is a glaring injustice that demands immediate attention and intervention from lawmakers

Bright Lending is operating what appears to be a "rent-a-tribe" scheme, where the economic gains from lending operations are funneled to external parties rather than benefiting the tribe itself. These LLCs are no more tribal than their non-Native, out-of-state beneficiaries.
