The report can’t be open:(

I don’t know why the report can’t be open

Please invest in User Experience

This is a very disappointing app. It’s surprising the school board uses this based on the poor reviews. Please invest in user experience and update the app accordingly. The login process was difficult (have to use forgot password) then the app has very limited features and the notifications aren’t clickable. I want to love to app, but I don’t. I hope it improves in the future.

Not user friendly

Not user friendly at all.

Gaps between Pulse and Brightspace

It looks like I only get the messages from my child’s class if I am logged into his Pulse app; the two apps are not in sync. Furthermore, the UI needs major improvements to be user friendly. Sometimes, notifications will not even open up when trying to read them.

Slow and glitchy

iPhone 13 mini. Unusable app experience. Uninstalled. Will use desktop instead.

Wish I could see more

Mostly, I wish I could access my child’s work from the parent app. Also, I only receive notifications sometimes and find it difficult to navigate how to receive more. I see the potential but hope to see some revisions in the future. Thanks for considering.

Poor app

You cannot see any grades, what’s handed what’s pending, an error message keeps popping up.

Dog $#!T

Absolutely useless. Notifications not specific to child’s class, notifications don’t come through when homework is set, and don’t always show in feed, don’t know when homework has been completed. Not sure what the benefits are.

Very buggy, total garbage

Someone must have paid a good bribe to get this app to the TDSB

Garbage - use the web or Pulse app

Zero point to having a separate parents app. It doesn’t work. Don’t waste your timing setting up a parent account. Just log in as your kid. Otherwise you can’t see all the material.

Logged in as a parent and the web app wouldn’t let me look at a high school class curriculum PDF as though it was highly confidential information.

I’m sure this company is hosing school boards and ignorant IT administrators into wasting time and tax dollars to use this next to useless service.

Needs Tweeking for sure

Our school district changed to Brightspace and we’ve unfortunately only had issues since the switch. Notifications don’t work. Early do their posts load properly. And you can’t communicate back to the teachers would has been very frustrating having to go between app and email constantly. Would definitely use some tweeking and updates to make it more family & user friendly.

Doesn’t give enough

Maybe get a notification once a month. Assignments always say overdue or upcoming but nothing every updates.
